Inoue is moving up to bantamweight to fight a lanky streak of piss called Jamie McDonnell. I've never seen him fight, but his record is pretty good. He's also 5'10, a whopping 5 inches taller than little Inoue. Does he have much of a chance, or does Inoue blast him out?
McDonnell is a good fighter. Decent skills, tall but doesn't fight tall, and he's tough, comes to fight. He isn't a big puncher and I've seen him get outboxed a fair bit. He came very close to losing to Ian Dappa Napa (remember him?) back in the day but he has improved a lot since then. He isn't in Inoue's league, he'll give it a go but I expect him to get a pasting.
Luckily, clenbuterol doesn't help a boxer at all. Just think how good Nery would have been without it.
Hopefully HBO Maintains a Relationship with Inoue... Would Be a Shame if He’s Never Shown to Ameican Audiences Again... REED
Im only giving scientific facts on the product (and some anecdotals ones, to a much lesser extent). If youre too much of an imbecile to comprehend them, its not my problem
Dude was just pathetic. He had a 4 inch height advantage, 5 inch reach advantage, was about 14 pounds heavier and totally dwarfed Inoue. He looked two weight classes above Inoue and I told the misses Inoue was going to lose. The round started and this guy looked like a total bum and I immediately told the missus never mind, Inoue is going to win. I have no idea how that guy ever was a champion because he put up zero resistance.
Watching this in Japan I’m privy to a bit more info. They interviewed Inoue after the fight and he mentioned how he was very motivated to fight, due to McDonnell and his team showing up to the weigh-in over an hour late without any sign of remorse or words of apology. Did they show Inoue’s brother’s fight over there?
Nothing better than seeing one of Eddie ´Dogshit´ Hearn´s fighters getting vaporised by a threshing machine with concrete hands: Check out that bodyshot that took McDonald´s off his feet...
What did you guys think of Inoue’s younger brother Takuma? I don’t know if they showed his fight on the USA card but over here they did because the co-main was another short 2 round slaughter. Inoue’s brother looked pretty good quality of opposition not withstanding. He punches with the same mean intentions and appears to have good power as he stopped his opponent early with a body shot. He also has a very good sense of distance and moves extremely well. I thought he looked like a pretty skilled fighter who is exciting. I wonder why he hasn’t been included on any tv portioned cards with the older Inoue.
