Looks more entertaining then anything Spike has done in years. Looks almost like a Paul Thomas Anderson treatment of the subject (think "Inherent Vice" or the lighter parts of "Boogie Nights"), but I'm not sure Spike can pull it off.
Like most movies these days it was mediocre at best. I wouldn’t sit through it again. There was nothing bad about it that I can put my finger on, the story was just kind of meh. It could have been an HBO movie and you wouldn’t have thought any different about it. 5.5/10.
