Horn is horrible. He's just tough and likes to throw punches but he's got no skill whatsoever. He squares up a lot. Just horrible.

 

Largely true, and don't forget he likes to throw headbutts and low blows and as much as throwing punches, and also lace people like the dirty little cunt he is.

Still, he does have significantly more fighting ability than a local clubfighter, which is how made it to the olympics and got ranked high enough to fight Pacquiao.

Again, I can't fucking stand the guy, I like him about as much as Broner, but let's not be absurd - he is a lot better than a local clubfighter and will give Crawford a lot more problems than a local clubfighter would.

 

I think Crawford will give Horn an absolute pasting. I rate the guy highly and I still stand by my prediction that he beats Spence. It's kinda weird that he's nearly universally ranked in the top 3 p4p but I still feel he's somewhat underrated.

Being an Olympian today doesn't mean much.

He hardly has any ability. Never mind past champions, there are loads of CONTENDERS/2nd tier level fighters that take this guy apart.

If Crawford is even HALF as good as he appears to be, he should still be able to mop the canvas with this guy. Size difference be damned.

 

And yes, Spence definitely beats Crawford.

Slicey is my boy and all, but I just don't see how Crawford beats Spence at all. Like me and Xplosive said, Spence is better, not just bigger, then factor in the size difference - I see a clear Spence victory.

Crawford is solid and sharp enough to make it a fight by the halfway point like Brook did, then Spence will take over and probably stop him tbh. Brook even had some size, and he couldn't do shit once Spence got going. I don't see Crawford having the size or firepower to discourage the marauding Spence.

Errol is more Golovkin than Floyd, he just comes forward, picks his shots well and beats the shit out of people. I don't see anyone at 147 stopping him from doing just that.

 

In some cases you're right. I've seen African fighters make it to the Olympics for no other reason than being the best of a really crap bunch, just really low talent pool. And of course they lose in the first round, because really they didn't deserve to be there in the first place, but the international nature of the Olympics dictates you have competitors from everywhere.

But again, he actually managed two wins in the Olympics before losing to the eventual Silver Medalist. You don't do that if you're a total scrub.

I agree he looks fucking horrible, but clearly he's better than a local clubfighter, like, much better.

Horns size and aggression could give Crawford some trouble early but unless he can hurt Crawford with the right or get home with it enough to make Crawford doubtful he should get picked apart. He seems durable an scrappy so I think he goes the distance unless he gets to busted up.
