Yeah, I don't give Matty Ice much of a chance against Pac.... even now.

Matthysse has never really been the same since the war with Provo, over 3 years ago. That fight ruined Provo, and took a lot outta Matthysse.

Agreed. Pac is no defensive whiz but I would never categorize him as very easy to hit either. I don't know that Matthyse can land a bomb clean enough to take Manny out. It wouldn't exactly be shocking but i'll still go with Pacquiao on points.

I wouldn't be shocked if Matthysse won but I'm going with Pac to win a close, but deserved UD.

Does anybody even give a shit about Pac anymore? I don't.

Not sure I would watch him on free TV at this point, let alone PPV.

Pacquiao is one of my favourite fighters ever but yeah I can't watch this version. It's not even that he's shot, I still think he's useful and can beat some good names. It's just when you compare this version that goes through the motions to the Tasmanian devil he used to be, it's just not the same.

Pac would still beat some "names" but he's no longer a threat to any top welter.

Nevermind Spence, and Crawford, he'd lose at this point to Garcia, Thurman, and Porter.

Probably the biggest NAME that Pac would still beat is Broner... but beating that bum isn't saying much.

I think current Pac could beat Garcia and Porter, wouldn't be easy but I can't say I'd be surprised if he won.

The current Pac is NOT beating Porter. I thought Pac beat Horn, but he did struggle with Horn's strength and pressure. We all know I don't think highly of Porter, but Shawn is definitely a much better fighter than the super bum that is Horn.

Porter would maul the current Pac like he did Dev Alexander.

Horn had the size though, Porter is a small welter. Not saying Porter couldn't win but Pac would land a lot of straight lefts down the pipe with accuracy that would stop Porter being so gung-ho.

I also think he'd still beat Garcia and Porter, probably anway, he'd have to come in much better form than against that scrub.

I stayed up for that disgraceful Aussie fight, and I'll stay up for the Lucas one too.

Might watch the Lucas one, or record it anyway, at least there's the threat of a big punch to make it interesting.

BTW "I stayed up" is a little misleading. See, I actually go to bed around 6am every night, so it was more like, "I watched it".

I can't stay up anymore. I always record the big US fights and watch the next morning at a sensible hour. Ever since I started my new job I'm wrecked by midnight.

I have Boxnation through BT Sport. I think if you subscribed with Boxnation directly, you don't get the benefits of BT Sport.

I know it seems weird to most people, but these are just the hours that come naturally to me, and I actually feel better at night, much better, and get more work done. I actually keep to the same hours as your boy Floyd ideally, 6 till 2. But atm I have so much work to do it's more like 7 till 1.

Gotta love Arum. Fuckin Zurdo Ramirez is on primetime ESPN in a few weeks, but arguably the best fighter in the world, who put on the most complete performance of his career, is reduced to an app that nobody besides hardcores watched...

It is a FACT... if you're Latino or European, Arum will promote you a helluva lot better than if you're black.

No. It's about drawing traffic to the app.

I know that was the strategy... but it was an extremely poor, ill-advised strategy. If Crawford was already an established mainstream star in the US, then sure, put him on the app... but TC remains totally unknown to anyone besides hardcores.

This was the PERFECT opportunity to build Crawford's profile in the mainstream by putting him on regular ESPN against a guy who has a name due to his "win" over Pac... and they blew it.

Then WHY Didn’t He Do That w/the Most Viable Commodity in his Stable?

Clearly, Lomachenko is Arum’s Pride and Joy, Deservedly So. It’s Also CLEAR Lomachenko was a Much BETTER Candidate to Draw Traffic to an App, than Crawford.

    That Goes Without Saying.

It’s Also CLEAR Arum “Feels Some Type of Way” about Promoting Black Fighters. There’s a Pattern or Behavior, a Tendency to UNDER Promote Black Fighters, Dating Back to Floyd Mayweather Himself. This ISNT Some Shit Black Posters are Pulling Out of their Asses, Doub.

REED Doesn’t Recall Seeing a SINGLE Crawford-Horn Commercial Leading Up. Arum Himself Didn’t Speak On the App Until Fucking Fight Week!

If You Can Even Characterize That as “Promoting”, it’s a PISS POOR Job of Doing So.

REED Was Stunned when Shakur Stevenson Signed w/Top Rank...

It's as if He HASN'T Been Paying Attention to the WAY Arum's Handled Black Fighters for the Last 2-3 Decades...

    Makes Tooooooooooooooo MUCH Sense, X...

Pac-Horn was THE Most Watched Boxing Match on Cable Television in 2017. HBO, Showtime INCLUDED...THE Most Watched Boxing Match on Cable in 2017...DUH!!!...

Not Only Was it a No-Brainer to Put Crawford-Horn on Regular ESPN, it Makes You Wonder if Arum INTENTIONALLY Sabotaged TC by Putting the Bout on an App...

    Puzzling Decision @ Best...
