Golden Fag Promotions has given him until noon tomorrow (pacific time) to accept a 57.5/42.5 split, or they walk away and "supposedly" pursue Jacobs.

And now Jacobs is saying that they're low balling him, and that he won't accept.

All-in-all, this is all part of Oscar and Erica Gomez's plan to fight Spike in September, just so they can say "Golovkin and Jacobs are scared of us, so we had no choice but to fight O'Sullivan."

42.5% is a very fair split which golovkins team needs to accept

At this point, I don't give a shit. I hope he doesn't accept. I don't wanna see this matchup... I'm kind of sick of both of them.

60-40 Would Be a FAIR Split...

Team Golovkin's Being UNREALISTIC if they Don't Accept 42.5%....

to get the % from 35 to 42.5 is an extra 4 to 7 million in golovkins pocket

Fat Dan just spoke to Oscar. No fight. Golov didn't take the deal.

    I'm happy.

    Fuck this fight!

First fight was a big letdown in terms of action. It was basically Golovkin outboxing a timid Clenelo, and Clenelo landed some flash shots late to get his groupies excited and overlook the fact that he was outboxed.

This wasn't exactly Trinidad-Vargas in terms of action, and I doubt the rematch would have been dramatic either.

We'll never know, but I suspect Golov would have once again outboxed him, and once again, Clenelo would have landed enough good shots to get a bullshit decision.

Probably, but I'm kind of happy he didn't. I doubt it's going to make much difference going forward but it's nice to see somebody refusing to cave into this "A side" bullshit.

Yeah, but if it was a good fight, i dont see how it could have been a let down. Unless you had massive expectation for it, which would have been weird, cause canelo is not an all action fighter

I don't think anybody figured it would be a MAB-Morales affair, but expecting more wasn't a massive expectation.

Yeah, I don't really care about the rematch but I'll watch it when it comes around. You just know that there's going to be more controversy when Canelo's involved.

Didn't think the first fight was very good at all tbh. I'm amazed some people thought it was good. Decent at best I'd say. And don't get me wrong, I do appreciate slower paced, technical fights, I'm not really one for all action scrubfests at all.

But Canelo is simply a boring, negative fighter and the Golovkin fight was no different. Plus Gennady pretty much dominated and had the ginger on his bike all night, so it's not like it was even a really tense, close affair.

i didnt care much for the rematch when the first fight ended. i wasnt super thrilled for the initial fight except as a money making opportunity.

that said, all this bullshit that has gone on will only add to the success of the pay per view in september. it will outdo last years numbers

It was a good fight, nowhere near great but I enjoyed it. Can't say I'm massively excited for the rematch as I thought GGG won the first one clearly. Am expecting the same thing to unfold again.

Canelo simply wasn't busy enough. Too concerned about what was going to come back at him. He needs to forget that and try to take the fight to GGG.

He can do that in spurts but he can’t sustain it. And he couldn’t seem to do much look like he was ducking pots and pans when he wasn’t opening up.
