I have a feeling Arum will set up a Saucedo vs Jose Ramirez fight next. It makes sense.

And Zurdo looked like shit. I'd have to strongly favor Benavidez and Uzcat over him.

It would be, but you'd have to favor Ramirez. Just seems like a better fighter.

Saucedo vs Baranchyk would be a war as well.

Yeah. G. Ramirez was not impressive. Except he did show a tremendous chin which counts for a lot.

His opposition has been pathetic as well.

Benavidez is just getting started and already has a better resume.

Arum is protecting the Hell outta Zurdo.

Back to Saucedo, I'll definitely root for the kid... but I'd be lying if I said I thought he had a bright future. It's not a good sign if you're going life-and-death with Lenny Z.

Granted, Lenny Z did manage to buzz Sergey Lipinets for a moment, but other than that, Lipinets beat the shit outta him in a one sided fight. He didn't struggle like Saucedo did.

Hell, from what I saw last week... that kid Vergil Ortiz would probably destroy Saucedo right now.

who should arum put ramirez in with? all the good opponents are unavailable

ramirez is boring and not much of a ticket seller so theres no real reason for arum to protect him

I'd like to see him fight Uzcat.

    Who's Uzcat with anyway? Haymon?

Zurdo wouldn't fare any better against Kov than that Russian southpaw he just beat up in the last fight.

I like saucedo too. His punching style is reminiscent of Tito's. But his defense is pretty awful.

i dont know who he is with promotion wise. i do know him and benavidez sounds more likely. and though uzcategui has improved, when him and benavidez did spar a few years ago benavidez gave him a beating.

as for ramirez vs saucedo. id pick saucedo. but it would be vicious, i just think hes a bit more talented offensively

    I don't see it. Ramirez-Saucedo I mean.

Ramirez looks by far the stronger and more durable of the two. Lenny Z was one good shot away from stopping Saucedo in the 4th.

Whereas Ramirez look Amir Imam's best right hands and never flinched.

Saucedo's chin is questionable. I actually think Ramirez stops him.

Looks like Saucedo will fight Maurice Hooker next. I think Saucedo will win that. Hooker blows (no pun intended).
