    How TF is it underrated when 1. It did extremely well at the box office, especially for a horror movie. And 2. It has a 95% score on RT.

    Think about that... A Quiet Place has a higher RT score than The Shining, The Excorcist, Silence of the Lambs, and The Omen.

    Don't sound UNDERRATED to me.

    It's a shit movie.

    And if you didn't get the feeling of suspense from 30 minutes in, after Blunt steps on the nail in the floor and is alone in the house then you´re worse than a fuckin simpleton cripple and should stick to Alfred Hitchcock movies for the rest of your life.

    You're defending this overrated movie like you're sleeping with it or something.

    No, sorry, I didn't get the feeling of suspense when she steps on the nail... considering a few scenes prior the camera zooms in on the nail LETTING YOU FUCKIN KNOW THAT DOWN THE LINE SHE WAS GONNA STEP ON IT! It wasn't some fuckin surprise.

    And sure, I'll stick to Hitchcock movies... every last movie Hitchcock ever made is better than piece of shit.

    It's not the worst horror movie ever. Not even close. We're talking about a genre that's put out some of the worst films ever made.

    But A Quiet Place was pretty unbelievably overrated given it's glowing reviews.

    1. Why would let you 4 year kid out of your view for even 1 second?
    2. How do these people not have an underground bunker that is completely solid and soundproof?

    at least have a soundproof room that you can live in at all times

    also when one of those things is nearby the best thing to do is move around a lot and risk making a sound...though I guess they don't hear footsteps since a grown male can be running full speed next to them without them hearing the feet hitting the ground

    there are abandoned stores everyhere

    they could have made the same movie but just showing that they had a small 'talking' room that was completely soundproofed, rather than whispering at home all the time...oh well

    generally the movie is decent for a horror movie, but definitely not in the top 3 or maybe even top 5 horrors from recent years
