Trinidad-Vargas- Though it was stopped rather late. Vargas was the perfect antagonist for Trinidad.

Jones-Hall- Roy tortured him and clowned him at the same time.

Pacquiao-De La Hoya- Oscar finally got the public flogging I was waiting for him to get but quit as it was starting to get really good.

Apart from the Prescott obliteration, Khan was competitive in the fights he was knocked out in. Wouldn't really describe any of them as 'beatings' per se.

I gotta say Mosley on Margarito was therapeutic. Had so much rage towards Margarito because of his cheating ass and it was enjoyable to watch him get pummeled.

    This is actually true.

Khan just took too much physical punishment over the course of his career. Prescott, Garcia, Maidana, Peterson, all happened prior to getting in with Canelo. He even had some flash knockdowns against Limond and some other unknown guy before his first loss.

All that before he was 25. Lots of punishment for a young fighter.

Orgasmic. Grant was so overrated I couldn’t wait for him to be exposed.

At the time many people were saying that Shane was better than Robinson, no joke.

I don't remember anybody saying he was "better" than Robinson. But I do recall people praising Mosley's hand speed and athleticism as being on par with Leonard and Robinson.

Leonard at one point was quoted as saying that Mosley had "faster hands" than himself. But I think that Leonard was being modest. For my money, Ray was not only faster than Mosley, but much more fluid with his punches , plus perfect technique. Shane got sloppy a lot of times in the midst of all his great hand speed.

I do feel that Amir Khan could wind up like Wilfred Bentitez or the Moyer brothers.

He just looks like somebody who doesn't have long-term prospects, intellectually.

Of course, he had that problem before he started boxing so who knows........

Supposedly he’s made a shit load of money with his charity foundation and his lack of activity in the ring suggests to me that he’s pretty well off financially, at least.

Which means he’ll have the cash to at least receive decent health care by the time he gets to that point, whereas Benitez is broke and living with his mother.

If he's making a shitload of money, it's not a charity foundation. News for you.
