Watched this last night. Written and directed by Paul Schrader, who famously wrote Taxi Driver. Very good. No, not nearly as good as Taxi Driver, but one of the best movies of the year. Ethan Hawke is a GREAT actor, and it's time he gets more respect in the industry. He delivers a flawless performance in this one. 8/10
I liked it. Ethan Hawke confirmed what was suggested in that shitty horror movie he was in; he’s a great actor that can carry a film. Cedric was good too. I thought some of the characters reactions to certain things seemed a bit off and the film was a little self indulgent at times but still really good.
