The boxing world is collectively disappointed that Craw elected to re-sign with Top Rank/ESPN. Money aside, Bud cant be naive - he knows the road to welterweight greatness goes through Spence and Thurman. Even a fight with Mikey or Porter would be huge. Who the Hell is Top Rank gonna match him with to prove his worth? It's been apparent for YEARS now that Pac wants no parts of TC, so which matchups do they keep making for him? Obviously they musta promised him good money, but it's pretty disappointing that TC chose the money over proving himself against PBC fighters. Arum isnt increasing his star power either. Spence has become the bigger name.
I think all roads lead to Crawford vs Spence, and I think people want to see it, and if enough make that desire clear and the money is coming, then it will happen.

It's seems pretty obvious that Crawford has no real drive to be a great fighter. He seems to prefer fighting second string opposition while receiving a disproportionate amount of hype, money and accolade. Guy has been groomed as a p4p talent for pretty much half a decade, yet his biggest scalps are euro bum Postol and midget Gamboa Great for him, but real boxing fan should be wiser when it comes to evaluating his worth as a fighter
