When you challenge a fucking bum who can't fight a lick like Conor McGregor to a fight in a sport he had no experience or ability in to pad your record.

That's just a TAAADDD bit more disgraceful than losing to Tommy Hearns in your 30s, and 20 pounds above your prime weight..

Jeffy and Rich ´Money´ Mustard like this.

I was watching it last night and just shaking my head in disgust. McGregor is terrible.

  3. Amazing how such a huge event in one's professional fighting career can be so totally overlooked, isn't it?

    Pot > Kettle, etc

  4. Im not saying he is shit, but did he actually land a solid shot on Khabib??

  5. Lol.

I think that any fighter in his 40s that’s survived a long career undefeated, and not just undefeated...but undefeated having won titles in 5 weight classes, having started at 130lb and having beaten more champions and titlists than any other before him, including the current undisputed Middleweight champion....deserves a little gimme fight for a huge payday at the end of his career.

    yeah

This was a freakshow, and a lot of elite boxers did some freak shows , and it has no incidence on their reputation

  7. Translation:
    "Xplosive, you've got me.
    Kaboom.
    I can't answer this objectively.
All I can do is cut-n-paste the same statistical troll-bullshit about former-champions, multiple weights, undefeated, moneyz n carz, to troll people yet again.

However, for what little I know of boxing, I concede: Durán > Mayweather Jr

    regards,

    Stattz"

  8. Mayweather Jnr has GOAT achievements and stats from his two decades of dominance. Don't hate, appreciate.

  9. What, because of the tons of weight divisions and snactioning bodies that weren´t around when Durán was smashing prime-above-weight motherfuckers apart?

  10. Can you imagine if Mayweather Jr even had a mere thought of stepping into the ring with a 135-lb, 1973-78 Roberto Durán?
What would be going through his little head would be this:
´Damn. My rotator-cuff is totally fine. But now, I´m in the ring with 5 Castillos´. Stattz, what should I do?´
´Hit him, Daddy!! Noooooooo...hit him back!! Runnnnn, Daddy, ruuuunnnnnnnn!!!

    Lol.

    "Just massage my shoulder."

  12. Nah I think Floyd would say something like this:

“Duran is a good fighter. You know...like I said before, he’s straight up and down with no special effects. You know. He already lost a fight to Esteban Dejesus...I mean...Dejesus is a decent fighter but he’s no Floyd. Like I said before these guys all want to fight me and I just want to fight the best, and Duran has the belts...you know...and like I said before I just want to fight the best like I fought Corrales and Hernandez and Castil-lio”

    After the fight...

“You know, like I said before...I’m the best. Duran is a hell of a fighter...you know....he’d beat any other lightweight out there...you know...hell of a fighter. But like I said before, I’m the best, you know. Was I surprised he quit? Yeah. But I can’t criticize him...he’s a hell of a fighter and he did his best...you know”.

  13. Sly with yet again, a complete and classic misunderstanding of Durán the boxer.....so he does what he does best: troll.

  14. To be honest with you, Floyd would beat Duran surprisingly easily. Duran is orthodox, shorter and with shorter arms. To beat Floyd you have to be taller, rangier and faster and or southpaw. Floyd would check left hook and pull counter the Panamanian to oblivion. People love Duran, not just because he was skilled but because of his wild greasy hair and tough man personality but Floyd would have beaten his ass.

Slice N Dice Big stiff idiot

I've always thought Duran-Mayweather is a 50-50 fight. Duran was a master at feinting which would open Floyd's defence up at some point. I go back and forth on it a lot.

Is that why pbf avoided taller fighters?

  17. Last I checked...all of the following were taller than Floyd:

    Corrales
    Castillo
    DeLaHoya
    NDou
    Mosley

Given your analysis track record, Sly, we TOTALLY believe you. Absolutely, Floyd beats Duran with consummate ease...

  20. my track record is better than yours.

  21. word. Also it's Floyd Mayweather we're talking about not Kirkland Laing.

  22. Troll or not, Stattzattack knows very little about boxing.
I mean, he talks a good game about certain fighters but this is not borne out of any real, particular knowledge.

    1 - No he wouldnt
2 - You got something right
3 - How do you know? He hasn´t been beaten.
4 - a) Durán would read and block fairly comfortably b) counter whilsy being used as a punching-bag
5 - Here, your entire argument falls apart as usual because you can´t help yourself when you open up subjectively about your dislike of certain fighters

  23. You wasted too much precious time to post this response which has so little substance.

I don't dislike Duran at all. I'm in awe of his skills and in love with his style of fighting. He just wouldn't have beaten Floyd.

  24. 1 - No I haven´t.
    2 - Yes it does.
3 - Yes you do. No, you´re not.
4 - Yes, he would. 135, 140, 147, etc, you´re just too subjective with your praise of Mayweather to understand these things, sonny.

  25. Breaking my response into point form doesn't help your case, it's just a meaningless shtick.

you're so in awe of Duran that you constantly reference a fight years beyond his prime in every single discussion

  27. No different to you mentioning Bruce Lee's aversion to Aspirin.
