Better than the joke of the women's fight but this is a huge mismatch. DC will toy with him

Also Dustin Poirier is out. I'm hopping to see Tony vs Nate or Justin vs Nate

The HW division is absolutely horrible.

Derrick Lewis is really just a Toughman level boxer who learned some basic grappling and takedown defense and managed to make a good living in MMA due to the sh*t level of competition in the UFC's heavyweight division.

What’s Funny is Lewis LITERALLY Said He Didn’t Think He Was Ready for a Title Shot Based On His Cardio, Yet Here it Is Anyways.

Come From Behind, 1 Punch KO and a Post-Fight Interview Going Viral is All it Took.

The TRAGEDY of it All is This Will Postpone Lewis’ WEED Session w/Rogan.

Daniel Cormier is going to have to try to sell this UFC 230 event entirely off his own name. And we'll see just how lacking he is as a "star" compared to the likes of McGregor and Rousey. This event won't hit 250K ppv buys.

Diaz was the reason for me to watch this and now that he's out I have zero interest. This will do 175k. DC is not a draw by himself. He needs Lesnar and Jon. They should just forget DC and do Jon vs Brock. That would do real numbers. 1.5 mil at least.

Fight went as expected. Commentators were confused why Derrick Lewis was fighting so straight up and not positioning himself to defend takedowns. DC took one to the eye though from a Lewis right hand by the looks of it. Relatively easy work for DC against basically a Toughman boxer with marginal ground skills.
Anyway, Daniel Cormier vs Brock Lesnar for the UFC Heavyweight Championship next. This will do over 1 million PPV buys for certain with a whole lot of WWE fans coming over and being amped up to see for the first time in history, the reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion vs the UFC World Heavyweight Champion. This will sell like hot cakes.
Even bigger would be for Brock Lesnar to bring the UFC World Heavyweight title on to Monday Night Raw 2 days later if he wins. Vince McMahon would salivate over that. LOL
Jon Jones vs Alexander Gustafsson will be at UFC 232 on Dec 29, 2018 so there's no Jones vs DC 2 or Jones vs Lesnar on the immediate horizon. But possibly he will face the winner if he gets by Gustafsson.

    Complete Mismatch...

Took Cormier a Fucking MINUTE to Get Lewis to the Ground and he Beat the "Fight" Out of Black Beast from There...Lewis was TRYING to Get Himself Choked Out as Early as Round 1...

Jacare-Weidman was a Damn Good Fight Though...Weidman's Endured Some BRUTAL Ass Losses...REED's Gone from Hating Weidman to Having Sympathy for Him...

Weidman's been KTFO or brutally slaughtered in 4 of his last 5 fights. Think they need to ship him off to Bellator around now before he gets himself killed.

    CRAZY Finish...

Never Seen a Fighter LAND a Punch and Elbow Strike in Succession Like That, Same Hand Same Punch...And They Both Hit Weidman HARD...

Fight was OVER from the Moment Weidman Fell...Ref Could've Gotten Him BADLY Hurt and Kudos to Jacare for NOT Fully Unleashing like he Could've...

Jacare is a veteran and knows it's not worth it to keep hitting when a fighter's eyes have already rolled back while laid out on the canvas. The ref Dan Mergiliotta is a complete idiot.
