People hate on it because it has Danny Glover instead of Arnold...and I get that as Arnold was exciting. But it’s unfair to let that judge the film itself as it’s pretty good.
That part in The Color Purple where Danny Glover says "I'm getting too old for this shit, Riggs" was movie gold
I put on the latest "Death Race" movie for about the first 20 minutes before I turned it off. Danny Glover was in it, and it made me just a little bit sad for him.
I mean, couldn't he have saved up enough to just retire, or did he spend all his fortune on Lidocaine and broken dreams?
Last I saw him in (in big roles) were Saw and Shooter...but these are 10 years old. He's been in tons of (forgettable) movies since!
