    I hate pointless gimmicks.

    Derek Gainer was a useless twat that used to prance and pose as if he’s Roy Jones lite but accomplish nothing. His performance against Marquez was a disgrace.

    Amen. Once in a while i can see a fighter doing it if the intention is to psyche out an opponent. More often than not though it's show-off move. Pfft, you didn't hurt me. Pfft you missed. They seem to figure making gestures after taking or avoiding a shot should get them additional credit from the viewers/judges.

    I think everybody enjoyed seeing Tyrd clocked.

    I enjoy it when switch hitters who can't fight southpaw continually get lit up when switching and get basically beaten into not switching anymore, so start switching when completely out of range and not throwing, in order to pretend they are still cool switch hitters.

    It's the thing you see a lot of in local club fights and drives everyone in the crowd fucking nuts.

    Also, local club fighters who come out to blaring ACDC tunes while wearing an elaborate poorly-fitting costume thier Mom spent weeks making, then get KTFO in 3 seconds.

    This is why local club fight nights are underrated. Even better are those "corporate boxer" type of semi-pro fights prior to the actual professional club fights, man you see all manner of idiocy, inability and ego wrapped up in there.

    There used to be a show here a number of years back called "So you think you can fight?" (or something along those lines) Don't remember in what city it was held but only saw it on some off channel when i had satellite TV.

    Most of them were hilariously bad. Some guy would talk all tough about being 100-0 in street fights and then KTFO in the first round by some accountant.

    Yeah they're great. Some of the guys front up with some skills and conditioning and make it entertaining, but others just have one trick, one gear and one round and get humiliated.
