Anybody watching Andrade fight tonight?

So I finally gave in and signed up for DAZN two days ago. I'm not currently home but I should be home in time to watch Andrade. Pretty disappointing that Billy Joe got popped as I was looking forward to that one. I feel Andrade woulda whipped Saunders but I guess we'll never know now.

Anybody know a damn thing about the African guy he's facing tonight?

According to boxrec Farmers opponent got KO’d by a guy that was 2-65.

 

I’ve been back and forth on signing up for DAZN... I have a feeling I’m going to give in.

I saw this fight was playing on Kodi but I hate watching fights and other live sports on a streaming service because there’s always lag. I think the DAZN offers a free trial period on signup.

 

Andrade is a threat to any middleweight in the world. Jacobs, Canelo, Charlo, he's basically even money with all of them. The African dude lasted the distance because he stopped opening up and was content to go the distance.

Any middleweight that opens up on Andrade is gonna get nailed with sharp, powerful counters.

I've always said Andrade beats Charlo and I think i maintain that belief. Let's not forget that Charlo went life and death with Trout, and Trout isnt as good as Andrade

I guess I dont mind dropping $10 a month on DAZN.

BUT... I'm not signing up for ESPN+. No way. I dont see the value in it. If it's not gonna be on regular ESPN, then oh fuckin well, I just wont be seeing it.

 

How does DAZN work? is it like Netflix? can you choose from multiple simultaneous events or just one at a time? is there an app for it like Netflix so you can just watch it on smart phone/tv???

 

There's an app for phone but haven't found one for smart tv. I tried watching my phone on the tv, but it was twitchy so ended up watching it on my laptop (through a browser). An interesting thing is that it allowed me to log in to two devices simulatneously.

 

Yeah theres a phone app. I was watching the card on my phone last night.

As for TV, you guys dont have fire sticks??? Downloading the app on the fire stick was seamless.

Andrade is an excellent talent who’s been dogged with promoter issues.

Still, as a hardcore fight fan, we should all know who he is.

 

Andrade does look good. Too bad Canelo is running to 168.

If he stays at 160, there's gonna looming pressure to face Jacobs, Andrade, or Charlo.

So off to 168 he goes. The only compelling matchup for Canelo at 168 would be Callum Smith. Don't expect him to face Callum.

 

Probably hard for him to make 160 because the cheating prick weighs like 200 fucking pounds

 

Canelo's 168 debut is a fucking joke of a fight. I genuinely thought I'd never hear about Rocky Fielding again after Smith sparked him in a round. Somehow the guy managed to grab himself some diluted version of a belt completely under the radar and get the biggest payday going. Fair play to him of course but now we are all going to have to put up with this "3-weight champion" bullshit.

 

Canelo has benefitted from favorable judging and good match making.

Good fighter, but very protected and overrated. He even had his own WEIGHT CLASS invented for him.

 

Canelo deserved a softie after taking on ggg in b2b fights. Still, i expect him to use this excuse repeatedly in the next few years, and constantly face garbage, unfortunately

 

To be fair to panchy, andrade is a complete non entity in boxing notoriety wise
