    Of course a good southpaw or a very good orthodox boxer will get the right hand off, but lead right hands from the usual stance during a fight against a live opponent are very very hard to do.

    Have you tried it in sparring, Irish?
    I have (and still do) against smaller, faster opponents and I get counter-jabbed more often than not.
    And I've got long arms...

    I just run around a lot in sparring and make shapes like I don't want to hurt the other guy when all I want to do is go home.

    Probably not the greatest, but a really good one I'd forgotten about was Austin's knockout of Botile. His jaw was broken and he was losing the fight. But he landed a sick right hook that shut Botile off like a light.
