    Cool.

Great triple-albums, too (3 hours long):

he's great. a quality musician who is excellent live and consistently puts out good music. either on his solo projects or when he is featured on other stuff throughout various genres

I'm going through his first album - the 3-hour long 'The Epic' and I'm really impressed.
    It's not just jazz!

I heard his set at the Proms last year (on the radio, not live), really enjoyed it. Kinda wished I'd gone to it actually.

This is kind of music someone on here would say: ´This is 21st century Jazz. Just go listen to the real jazz that influenced this.´
Which I agree with in principle, but it´s great if someone hears this and gets it in their mind to check out Miles Davis, John Coltrane, etc, but this work should not be diminished cos its influenced by great classic jazz!

A buddy of mine was talking about this cat a few months ago... I meant to dig deeper and forgot ... I'll give a listen when I'm home later

Just watched the first half hour or so and it's outstanding... fantastic players and really inspired... I think it's awesome... Thundercat always amazes me every time I see him play... some beautiful dynamics there, too
