Liston had skill, but I don't trust his chances since he made his career by steamrolling much smaller guys
Not sure I agree with that ... for one, his size tends to get way overstated... plenty of the guys he beat were the same size as him His skills are consistently undersold... the demolition jobs on Patterson and his ineptitude in the face of Ali's outlandish speed have distorted his legacy... he was an excellent boxer, far more nimble than his reputation and also far more careful If Bowe wins this it'll be by drawing Liston into a close range fight where his greater mass can be more of a factor because Liston can find him at a distance despite being 3 or 4 inches shorter (freakishly long arms) ... I don't think Liston was completely lacking in heart but Bowe even as a fat slob had courage to burn ... if it comes down to enduring and will, gimme Riddick
I agree with the second part 100%. History paints Liston as some come forward destroyer. The guy was a boxer-puncher.
