Not sure. Froch should win with his reach and jab, but Canelo too seems to have the ability to win, even if you discount the judges

It'd be a bit more difficult for Canelo to walk down a guy as physically strong as Froch as opposed to a stiff like Fielding.

I've been been critical about Froch in the past, but I'll say this... I think he had more will and desire than Golov, and would be willing to take whatever Ginger counters to eats the force the spurt fighter to fight at an uncomfortable pace.

Of course it would, but being better than Fielding doesn't automatically equal with winning, since Fielding didn't come very close of winning.

I would pick Froch too, but before the GGG fights I would have been sure about it. Not so anymore

As far I'm concerned, Canelo lost twice to past prime Golovkin. We're not talking about some virtuoso performances.

I'd definitely pick a prime Froch over the Golovkin that twice fought Canelo.

I think Froch also wreck GGG, so Canelo scrapping by him (if even) is not an indication of him having succes against Froch

Key thing is range really. Canelo is defensively better than he gets credit for, he's a hard guy to nail with combinations. Froch needs to take a similar approach to the Abraham fight.

I’d take GGG over Froch. Froch is too slow to get around the jab and GGG is really tough for his size.

Frock-Canelo would come down to whether Canelo could control and tame Froch with his counters. I think he would to some e tent but he doesn’t have the work rate or stamina to sustain it and Froch would overwhelm him late.

I think the circa 2013 Golov beats Froch... not the listless old man that fought Canelo.

I don't think Canelo could keep Froch off him. Froch isn't a guy who could be tamed easily. If that were the case, then Jermain Taylor woulda kept him honest all night long after dropping him.

But it's actually in Froch's best interest to force a brawl in this fight rather than to fight technical the way he did against Abaraham.

The Ginger's a much better technician than Abraham was, although, AA was a much bigger hitter than Canelo.

In a technical, measured fight, Canelo's higher skill level gives him the edge over Frochy.

A war favors the bigger, stronger, better stamina having Froch.
