All I know is the only relevant pilar was a concrete one that he needed his useless, chubby metrosexual Asian American face smashing into over and over again...
I must admit that I do prefer MMA over boxing these days for three reasons. The first reason is 10-12 rounds just feels too long for me to invest in one fight. Watching UFC you go through a whole fight card in the time it takes to watch one boxing match. The second reason is I like the whole styles match ups that are possible in MMA. The third and biggest reason is all the talent that is in MMA these days. Plus it’s only going to get better as more and more people are getting into it and it’s way more popular than boxing when it comes to people learning self defense.
It has nothing to do with the length of the fight, be it boxing or MMA. It's about the entertainment level of the combatants involved. It could be a 10-12 round boxing match or a 5 x 5 minute MMA fight. If the fighters are playing it safe, the sh*t is boring regardless. Just like Pacquiao/Morales over 36 minutes was a hell of a lot more entertaining than the 15 minute sh*t fest Francis Ngannou vs Derrick Lewis in the cage.
Well that’s your opinion. I was presenting my opinion and lately for me time has a lot to do with my preference. I think I’m just getting old because I refuse to waste time like I used to. For example, I tell my barber to skip the razor edge-up, the clippers do a fine job. Also no need for the shoulder massage, just get me out of this chair ASAP. Also when it comes to entertainment value it’s easy to pick maybe the worst fluke fight in MMA history and compare it to a random great boxing fight to make your point about which sport is better or more entertaining. I can care less because it’s all opinionated and I’m not dying on either hill. I’ll always love boxing and in my heart it’s still number one, but these days I prefer MMA.
That's cool. I like both sports too. Doesn't matter to me who thinks one is better than the other. If a fight is fun, that's all that matters in the end.
