Is this a Golota or Grant redux? Or does Cooney pull off a Rahman?

This has that "this guy is big and hits hard and I'm a little bit scared so I better kill him" Lennox vibe

LOL! That's an ideal way to put it. Although Lewis played it very very safe against Tua.

I'll give Cooney enough respect not to predict a KO 1, but I'd say Lewis KO 2.

I think it's an exact replay of Lewis-Ruddock.

But I think a lot of that was because of Tua being short and squat... Lennox seemed more attack minded against guys closer to his own stature

    Tua had a great chin.

Lewis would have Cooney in big trouble with the first big right hand he lands.

I think there were only 2 times with Tua connecting with the left hook on Lewis (not the full brunt) and both times he shook Lewis. The first time being in the 3rd round right near the end of the round which brushed Lewis' nose and backed him up into the ropes at the sound of the bell. The other instance was I think in round 9 when Lewis opened up with a few combos and Tua sneaked a very short precise left hook in there which caught Lewis by surprise. Tua's left hook power was scary in that fight which is why Lewis kept the fight at a long distance. I remember Tua saying he only ever watched the Lewis/McCall I fight and figured one shot was all he needed and that he'd absorb anything Lewis threw his way.

Tua was only 5'9. You'd tower over him cdogg. Could you take him?

I remember coming on SecondsOut immediately after that Lewis/Tua fight. People on there were irate, pissing all over Lewis for being a safety-first boring joke. I understood where they were coming from as Lewis was 98% in safety-mode during those 12 rounds. I guess you'd just figure that a guy at 6'5, 250 with an 84" reach would throw a lot more leather out there against a guy measuring up to his chest and with only a 69" reach.

Tua would KO Cooney as well.

You could tell Lewis hit a lot harder than Tua expected.
