I think he stops a game Fenech late Fenech tells reporters that the referee acted hastily and that he "had" Saldivar right where he wanted him. He further opines that had he not missed three weeks of training after sustaining injuries in a pub brawl with four Wallabies, he definitely would've won
Saldivar has pretty strong argument for the GOAT stamina. He was a notoriously slow starter, but once he got warmed up, he was a machine that did not stop at all. His straight left was deadly, and very accurate, and it was beautiful how he would unleash rapid fire combos while pivoting around his opponent.
When I first watched him I was impressed by his blend of offense/defense, his rhythm... I had expected him to be more of a brawler
