2003? Tommy lee jones chases ex-special forces-gone-rogue Del Toro thru the forest then the river then some old industrial sites by the river then the forrest then the river again in a totally shameless rip off and melding of Rambo and Fugitive. Not a classic but nice mindless foder for a hungover sunday or after a particularly hard day since theres almost zero plot or character development, just one badass chasing another badass thats decided to start murdering deer hunters for reasons which are totally incidental. The knife fight scenes are fucking fantastic. Anyone else see this?
Yeah, it's a good flick. Better than critics gave it credit for. Jones and Del Torro are good enough actors to compensate for the film's flaws.
I thought this thread was about 1995 "The Hunted'" starring Christopher Lambert, John Lone and Joan Chen. A highly entertaining martial arts film that deserves more recognition. The ninjas fight scene in the train is awesome.
Hummmm...it says 'Shit' here: The Hunted I think if it's subjectively rated by a deluded martial-martial-arts fanboy, then it's safe to assume which is the correct review/opinion.
