Would he? Probably but he hasn’t beaten anyone so far. He needs to beat much better comp before getting that fight. Lopez seems to have a very stationary head and looks pretty hittable to me. His offensive weapons are obviously really good though.
On the other side of the coin what does Lomachenko gain? A win over a guy that is severely unproven. Not really worth it imo.
i agree. i doubt he takes the fight. unless garcia vacates his title and lopez is able to pick it up soon.
Then he started counting. 1............2................have a a wank..............3................4...................pizza time..............4................how about those Pats.............5..........
The corner or ref could’ve stopped it sooner but the ref giving a count after the last kd was insane. That ref should be suspended.
You're OVER Thinking It... Despite Lopez's Jovial, Playful Nature, he Obviously Goes to a DARK Place Just Before Stepping in the Ring... He's Competitively ARROGANT...So is Loma, They Just Show it in Different Ways...Loma Pirouette's Around Guys, Traps Himself in a Corner and Waves Them In (ala Roy-Telesco), and Nicknames Himself "No-Mas-Chenko"...Teofimo's More VIOLENT and Rubs in in your Face Afterwards... Different METHODS, But Make No Mistake They're Coming from the SAME Place...It's Not Enough to JUST Win, Loma and Teofimo Both Want the Loss to LINGER... REED
Wow. TR's doing a helluva job turning Lopez into a mainstream star, lemme tell ya! Three consecutive fights now that's being a paywall! Yayyy boxing!
Matias is impressive - hunting down Dadashev. Announcers of course overlooking his work because he's b-side
Flat performance from Lopez, no excuses about it. He sure ain't beating Loma with a performance like that. Update on Dadachev: He underwent a 2-hour surgery to remove massive brain swelling. If he does make it, then he owes his life to McGirt. He would have almost CERTAINLY been killed if McGirt let him come out for the 12th... and most trainers WOULD HAVE sent him out for the 12th. Major props to Buddy.
Very underwhelming. Guy Lopez fought may have been tough but there was no spark in that performance from Lopez. I guess he didn't want to exert himself too much. Good learning experience but you want to see more.
I was laughing at the part when Lopez's dad said, "Go fuck that nigga up!" And Joe Tesetore was like, "We heard there was extremely offensive language used in the corner, and we apologize."
ESPN's team is sooooooo much better than the utter trash you have on DAZN. I've never cared for Tesitore, but the combination of Ward and Bradley is excellent. Ward was always a quality analyst, but now Bradley has become one of the best, after starting out average. And the chemistry Timmy and Dre have is very good. I cant stomach listening to Brian Kenny and The Latin Fake. Then you have a sideline guy on ESPN who's quality in Bernando Usuna versus... LZ Granderson...
Commey's Actually a BETTER Matchup for Teofimo Lopez, Stylistically...In REED's Opinion, That Is... Nakatani Can Fight...VERY Tall for the Division (And Teofimo's a GOOD Sized Lightweight Himself), Active Left Jab/Left Hand in General, Meaty Right Hand... Definitely NOT 1 for the Archives, But a Fight Teofimo Can LEARN From...Commey's Only an Inch or So Taller and Isn't Rangy Like Nakatani Was... REED
I wouldn't say Bradley is one of the best. He definitely learned at the Teddy Atlas school of overstatements and overraction. I do like how he and Ward go back and forth. Ward is the sane one in the room.
