Yeah I watched it on Disney+ and it was pretty good even though it is still a scene by scene recreation of the animated classic (with all the same songs too). I was surprised they didn't used much the parrot sidekick for Jaffar like in the original film. That bird was my favorite character after Robin Williams genie. The British actress that plays Jasmine is insanely hot.
I have not watched The Lion King remake yet. It is on Disney+ and yet I can't motivate myself to watch it.
Yup. They added other stuff like an extra song and a dance sequence plus the tiger wasn't used much either. Jaffar never felt menacing. Wrong choice of actor in my opinion. Benedict Cumberbatch would have been perfect in this role instead.
