Second trailer looks more awesome than anything playing in theaters right now.

On paper, this SHOULD be the best Netflix film ever.

J.C. Chandor has yet to make a movie that wasnt excellent. Margin Call, and A Most Violent Year were both superb films.

But Netflix films seemed cursed, so who knows...

But yeah, Netflix has got me again... I'm watching this.

It probably will be good. The cast, and director is too solid for it not to be.

I love Margin Call, it’s one of my favorite movies but I felt the complete opposite about AMVY.
I agree though Netflix movies do seem cursed.

    I'll have to disagree.

I thought Most Violent Year was very good.

It’s probably the kind of movie I’d have to watch a few times to appreciate.

Yeah, I would give it another chance.

Margin Call, I've seen several times. It's definitely Chandor's best film to date.

As far as financial crisis movies go, Margin Call takes a hot steaming shit on The Big Short.

I forgot Chandor also made All is Lost, another excellent movie.

If Triple Frontier isnt good, then Netflix is officially a hex.

Don´t understand why everyone on here was a raving about looking forward to this before it was released: it just looked like shit-standard mercenaries rob a South American villain with a slight twist to the adventure.

Oh wait, it had a good cast.
That must have been it.

My Alpha Female wife didn't let me watch it last night. We watched 'Aloha!' instead. Emma Stone as always was good, but the movie was meh.

    Netflix got me again......LOL!

Anybody catch the really awful helicopter CGI going over the "Andes"? "Oh no, we can't go above 4000 feet". You stupid cunts, you're at like 14,000 feet right now. Jesus Christmas this is almost 2020. Was this sitting on the shelf since the mid-1980's?

Dialogue was clunky as fuck to.

    Netflix is unbelievable.

Oscar Isaac only stars in quality movies. JC Chandor only makes quality movies. And SOMEHOW... this movie was shit.

    I'd give it a 5/10... at best.

    It's really unbelievable.

HOWEVER, I do have to give Netflix credit... they're picking up movies that Hollywood will no longer fund.

If it's a superhero movie or a LGBT movie, Hollywood isnt interested.

It's nice that your wife made time to spend with you, between her cheerleading practice and social studies homework.

That's too bad Panchy. My wife actually stayed awake all through "Triple Frontier", which is a Herculean feat for her. I think she liked it better then me, even as she was picking plot holes out of it left and right and giving me a WTF, are these guys stupid or what look, every 5 minutes or so.

"Aloha" was probably a better movie though, and I'm not even remotely saying "Aloha" was a good movie.

I feel like Netflix's Head of Content sits with these Directors and says, "We feel this film has a lot of potential and we'll pay you well to make it. But we'll pay you even more not to let it reach its potential."

Maybe I will keep looking for more photos of Ricky Schroeder's daughters instead.
