For a female superhero movie they made a nice women’s lib song choice there where a fed up woman is threatening to walk all over a man.

 

'The Future is Female' Marvel's new motto as they move forward to make Captain 'No Ass' Marvel as the Avengers new leader to replace Tony Stark (Downey Jr. has become way to expensive for the studio...but why name newbie Captain Marvel the leader and not the other Captain? you know, America?)

 

We need a transgender superhero to really drive the point home.

 

Mild mannered man during the days and a mild mannered woman during the nights. Perfect disguise. Better than say I don't know.... glasses

 

Sadly...this’ll likely happen one day.

I’m not inspired at all

 

I will watched it only because I am a Marvel comics true believer, but I am not hyped. Not a little bit. I still think Brie Larson lacks the physique for this role, but then this is a love letter to all purple-haired SJW pussyhat wearing femi-Nazis from the Left and not an attempt to please comicbook hardcore male fans purists.

 

Standard Marvel trailer but it is compelling.

 

Sam Jack will carry it. It looks like they’re going to be introducing the Skrulls and the Kree so that’ll be cool.

Have anyone noticed the striking similarity of this movie with Green Lantern?

 

Speaking of Green Lantern..Dr Strange was the exact same film as GL, just much better.

How much of this shit can they churn out?

 

Not too much more I imagine. Once Infinity Wars II is done and some of the guys playing these roles start getting too old or want out of playing the roles (ie Hugh Jackman) they’re going to have a hard time finding replacement actors who are as good and making reboots that reflect the same quality as today’s films.

It will be similar to how the first Spider-Man reboot failed to deliver.

 

She won't be able to carry the next phase of the Marvel Universe.

 

Word. Brie Larson is badly miscast here. I doubt she can pull a Gal Gadot and make us eat our words since Gadot in the trailers exuded charisma. Larson is plain BORING.

Whoever thought this through...didn't.

 

This film will not be a box office bomb, but it will not do better than the two Ant-Man films. Hardly the business a character can pull to replace Tony Stark as Marvel's leading character all for the sake of PC. Marvel should learn from the NPC mistakes of Lucasfilm.

 

Third trailer...still meh. I am saving my money on this one (fuck SLJ). Will watch it online. The fact that it will be released just a little more than a month ahead of 'Avengers : Endgame' might be a mistake...or not! I think Marvel did this knowing this film will not do great, but since reportedly Captain Marvel will be the one defeating Thanos, many people who passed on the film might want to know more about her, "Hey, 'Captain Marvel" is still playing in theaters: lets watch it to find out how she became so powerful!"

 

Brie Larson is doing a great disservice to Marvel Studios. Every time she opens her activist mouth is turn-off people left and right. Now she is demanding that the film press tour be 'diverse and inclusive' as she doesn't want an 'all white male' crowd. Media articles keeps pushing this film more as a feminist event than fun entertainment for all. Fuck this crap, I am not watching this SJW . Box office predictions keep shrinking each passing day. I hope it bombs (it won't, but I hope it does).

Brie Larson Doesn't Want 'Captain Marvel' Press Tour To Be "Overwhelmingly White Male"

Oh and some time ago I read Larson was whining about female actors being paid lower than their male counterparts, but look at these numbers for male actors in their first origin films:

Chris Hemsworth 'Thor': $150K
Robert Downey Jr "Iron-Man": $500K
Chris Evans "Captain America: The First Avenger": $1 million

Brie Larson "Captain Marvel" : $5 million!!!

Heck, Gal Gadot was paid only $300K for her starring role in "Wonder Woman" (A film that grossed almost $900 million) and she never whined about being underpaid!

 

Projections for the film have taken a serious dive. Ten days ago all the projections were pointing to a $160 million box office opening with a total final domestic run of $465 million. Yesterday projections are pointing to a $100 million opening. What happened that these projections are now $60 million lower? Answer: Brie Larson's anti-white male comments have pissed off the core base of these kind of films demographic.

 

Early screening is producing glowing reviews from media critics (as expected, total shill). Here are a few quips which raises eyebrows:

Unlike a lot of the other idiots out there, I’m not going to let an actors personal politics or views influence my decision to go so this movie or not.
