That's okay, but the trailer points to a very feminist PC film , "Lets teach these boys how is done'. The fact that this bland chick will be defeating Thanos is lame as hell.

btw the RT scores are now dropping to 52% who want to watch it.

I’m going to watch it regardless. I can’t be any worse than the last three DC movies which were so bland and unimmersive that I was glancing at the time and looking forward to the end.

Out of 'Aquaman', "Justice League" and 'Wonder Woman' only JL was awful. Aquaman & WW were very entertaining.

I would never watch any of them again and of the three only Justice League had certain “scenes” that I enjoy and have rewatched.

As for that chick you posted, “she is extremely fuckable” however her dancing is terribly unsexy and makes me way less into her, except of course the part where you can halfway see her pussy.

Well I am not judging her dancing skills. She is a good piece of meat.

Our (Captain) Marvel brand is in crisis!!!

The Rotten Tomatoes 'Want to See' score has plummeted from 96% a week ago to 28% today! The last Disney film that had such a bad rap was 'Solo: A Star Wars' story' and that film bombed. Now I am not sure if this film will even break even. Marvel might have its first flop right before the release of its most anticipated movie ever, Avengers: Endgame.

After hitting a low 27% 'Want to see' score, RT has removed the score section from the 'Captain Marvel' page. Hmmm...I just wonder if Disney paid them to do that. Where is Rainmaker? He knows everything about these Disney shady dealings!

I understand why RottenTomatoes did this.
All these rightwing nutjobs are now attacking the movie on RottenTomatoes because the movie is SJW according to them. They have a political motivation to attack the movie and RottenTomatoes rightfully intervened.

Dude, that is called censorship. They had no problem with all the hundreds of of obvious paid bots that gave five stars positive scores sans a single word of review for last year's 'Star Wars: Resistance' series, another Disney product. The RT 'Not interested' button was not a movie review. Just people saying 'I am not going to watch this film'. Nothing political about it. Nothing 'Right wing' about it. Brie Larson and Marvel DID made it political and that is why it pissed off the film's target audience who wants their Marvel Entertainment Identity Politics free. People have the right to express their discontent as much as the ones who wants to watch it precisely because all the SJW appeals to them. Rotten Tomatoes has bend the knee to Disney's interests twice now and in the process has lost its credibility.

make my {Captain} Marvel look like this and I will not boycott it:

Entertainment Weekly cover states that Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson will fight Aliens and SEXISM?

The embargo is over and the reviews are kicking in. It started in the high 94%, but as more reviews are added its score keeps going lower. At this moment (Tuesday 6:21 pm) it stands as certified fresh 83% (Ant-Man like score), but the 'glowing reviews' are suspicious at best as it seems that those critics were happier with the film's SJW agenda than the film itself (everybody agrees that the cat is awesome), and it shows a pattern in their reviews! Here some samples:

"Brie Larson gives hell to cosmic villains and sexist trolls."
    - Peter Travers
    Rolling Stone
"Its girl-power soundtrack, blasting Garbage and Hole, will win over any '90s girl's heart."
    - Barbara Vanderbergh
    Arizona Republic

"Captain Marvel has a playful vibe and yet nails the full-on female-empowerment/empowering action thriller aspect as well."
    - Rebecca Murray
    Showbiz Junkies

"Captain Marvel lives up to her billing as the heroine we need right now, even if she's not one fragile fanboys deserve."
    - Seth Kubersky
Orlando Weekly (I have read this trashy magazine at dentist's offices and is more feminist than Gloria Steinem)

    "Liberating. Cute. Forgettable."
    - Roger Moore
(with a 2.5 out of 4 how this was a positive review?)

"Captain Marvel is fun! All the negative reviews are from men...shocking..."
    -The Mary Sue

Oh, oh! Even youtube's feminist Grace Randolph of 'Beyond the trailer' called the movie 'a mixed bag' and wasn't impressed with Brie Larson's acting. She also called her character 'a Mary Sue, just like Rey in The Force Awakens'.

Jesus dude why do you give a shit so much? Just go watch the movie and leave politics out of it. I’d bet you would ruin an orgy with all your SJW political crap.

Because every media/Internet review out there has bought feminism & politics into it...in an obvious attempt to gloss-over the fact it's probably going to be a shit movie.

Brie Larson was 100% clear about it all when she set the battle-lines on the publicity tour so its no wonder there is backlash.
This movie will do okay ($100-120M opening 4 days, middle of road for MCU). But Marvel will be relying on Avengers & Spiderman to save it from the ´SJW death spiral´, instead of launching its next phase.

Captain Marvel opens in the UK and US on Friday, which has been designated International Women's Day 2019

    No more clues.

James Woods said it this week about Captain Marvel: ”When you have a choice, pick a movie where the studio doesn’t hate half its audience…”

I am boycotting this film. Not giving a single cent to its box office. I will watch 'Alita: Battle Angel' instead, which also has a strong female character, but besides not hiting you in the face with its SJW politics, I heard is pretty good. The only way I'll watch 'Captain Marvel' is when it leaks online.

Captain Marvel (2019) Okay I went early today to watch 'Alita: Battle Angel' (which I loved) and after it finished, since there wasn't that many people in the theater I hopped to the 'Captain Marvel' screen which wasn't half full. My verdict? It is not as bad as some fans have said, but neither is as good as most critics hyped it. It is just average. I rate it lower than the last 'Ant-Man & the Wasp' which was merely okay. What was good about it? The Marvel intro homage to Stan Lee. That was nice. Also while it has its dosage of girl power & PC politics, is not blatant and I could stomach it since I knew it was coming. What wasn't good? Gee way too many things. For one Brie Larson's acting is two dimensional. She was just going through the motions with the same wooden facial expression and total lack of charisma. Jude Law was wasted here. Annette Bening looks and acts like Hillary Clinton having a seizure and Sam Jackson for some reason is not the same Nick Fury we know (yes, he is younger, but less serious and more prompt to sarcastic jokes). Gemma Chan is smoking hot even under all the blue make-up. Goose the cat? I can't understand the hype. He gets funny only when CGI is used. The problem with this film is that Captain Marvel lacks a strong villain and she is too damn powerful. You never sense she is at any risk at all any time. The choice of 90s songs were too 'girly' and lacked the nostalgia factor the film kept failing to evoke. A mediocre movie with enough CGI & explosions to satisfy some audience members that still get a kick out of that stuff. 5/10

    But my biggest beef was...

    *****S P O I L E R S *****

This film totally ruined the continuity build in previous films. Here we have Captain Marvel finding the Tesseract that was supposed to be buried in the bottom of the sea with Captain America, but somehow in the 90s was in space in a Kree orbiting Laboratory??? Then Nick Fury guards it? That messes up big time the prior films. Makes no sense. Also as a Marvel fan it totally fucked up the storyline of the Skrulls and the Kree. Here the Skrulls are the suffering space Palestinian victims of the evil occupation Jewish Kree. I mean WTF??? The Skrulls are the good guys???? And Captain Mar-Vell was supposed to be a dude, not a Hillary Clinton clone! Come on! Plus the way Nick Fury lost his eye (via cat scratch) is so damn stupid I couldn't believe Kevin Feige allowed that shit. As for the so-called after credits scene...meh. So besides being all powerful she can also teleport to The Avengers headquarters lab undetected??? Talk about goddess complex!

Panchy, do you think Captain Marvel should've been portrayed in his male form?

They should have started with the dude and then pass the mantle to Carol Denvers like it was done in the comics. RESPECT CANON!!!

But if they had started with Ms Marvel using her iconic uniform instead, I would not have complained one bit.

What an entirely bland film. Then add all of the equality bullshit. Bottom 3 Marvel movie to me. Easily.

To me it is Marvel's weakest film. It broke with so many pre-established franchise continuity points it was driving me nuts. I listened last night to review from the guys of Half in the bag/RedLetter Media and they nail it when they said, "Remember 'Jupiter Ascending'? How that film was ripped by critics and ignored by moviegoers? Take the same movie, add Nick Fury, label it a Marvel Studios film and suddenly most critics are loving it and breaking box office records."

And I add this Gal Gadot photo to remind myself that female superheroes CAN be entertaining and sexy!

SPOILERS: Yeah that shit with the Skrulls pissed me off too. I was thinking up til the movie ended that they were going to pull some kind of betraying action because the Skrulls are known for being evil incarnate.

I even read some articles looking for reasons for this change and one I read claimed it was a grey area and that both the Skrulls and Kree have done horrible things in war and for the preservation of their respective race’s. That may be true and I can’t speak for the Kree but I know that in the comics Skrulls are universally known as an evil race who’ve been compared to being way worse than Nazi’s.
