Have to rethink Spence's power if he can't knock out a lightweight. Why do you think Spence couldn't come through and knock out Garcia the way you predicted he would?

My instinct is to rail against your adolescent tendency to turn every single fight you watch into a tear-down session, no matter who the fighter is.

 

I'm very excited for Spence-Pac. It'll officially make him a mainstream name when he stops Manny.

The Cleveland Steamer wants his cake and he wants to eat it as well ... to wit, Spence was only able to outbox Garcia because Garcia was small and afraid. Simultaneously, Spence isn't powerful because he couldn't knock Garcia out. So then why was Garcia afraid in the first place?

 

Doub is giving Spence's skill literally zero credit.

He actually did the unexpected tonight.

The general feeling was that Mikey would fare well early on, before Spence's size and strength took over.

Instead, Spence made Garcia look like a fucking boxing novice for 12 rounds, and Doub gives him no credit.

 

Spence was just the better fighter. He outboxed Mikey at range with his jab and underrated defense and counter punching, out fought him on the inside as well. He proved to be the superior technician and only the Thurman groupies said Spence would only win due to his size.

I’d love to see Spence vs Manny. It would be a true passing of the torch.

Have to agree with you on this. X is all over the place. You CANNOT say Spence is the best in boxing on one hand, then turn around and tear Garcia down. That makes absolutely no sense...

 

TBH, I was more impressed with the Brook victory considering he went into enemy territory and knocked a middleweight's eye socket off more than I am with him beating up a fat lightweight

 

The cake and eat it too is to say Garcia is 't very good because he was outboxed by Spence but then claim that outboxing Garcia is hard.

 

It's just retarded. Spence won every minute of this fight. Garcia was outboxed and outpunched. Give the guy his due and move on instead of nitpicking Xplosive's predictions
