Neil is right. Arum is simply trying to get his share of the heavyweight action. He's going to showcase Fury .... build him up, and at the same time, build up some other heavyweight he promotes, and then put on some sham of a ppv like Crawford/Khan or Crawford/Postol. And as far as Fury, he signed with Arum for the same reason Crawford did. Money. The only difference is, Fury actually fought a top guy in his division before doing so. The reason Arum did it now is because if the Wilder rematch happened, and Fury loses, his upside is cut in half. Wilder is the one pissed because he's the one with more to prove.

Im guessing Fury is facing krautnelo schwarz next because the guy is ranked highly in the WBOgus rankings.

the money making fight(s) is fury-joshua. the biggest fight in boxing. financially, at least

What ASSures YOU (or Top Rank) Eddie Hearn Wants to Make That Fight?

And Whose Streaming Service Gets SLIGHTED Neil? ESPN+ or DAZN? DAZN JUST Raised Monthly Rates $10 Per, Less Than a Week Ago, a Mere 6 Months Into its US Launch. :D

As Loooooong as Joshua Has 3 of the 4 Recognized Belts, Top Rank Has a 0% Chance of Having LEGIT Leverage in a Joshua-Fury Negotiation.

    ESPN Affiliation or Not.

Well it goes to a purse bid at worst and arum can put together his best offer to have the fight on espn or fury gets to fight for that belt if hearn prefers to dump it Bowe style

Dazn actually got cheaper for boxing fans with the yearly subscription option

Doesn't Dazn and many of these streams tend to freeze or buffer at times? Or is it really solid?

I heard Deontay Wilder rejected a $100 million offer from DAZN for 3 fights (1 fight against Dominic Breazeale and 2 fights against Joshua.)
Wilder says he rejected the deal because he believes he would be on the lower end of the purse in the fights with Joshua and DAZN never told him what Joshua is earning.

Deontay should just have his fights streamed Live on YouTube and allow sponsors/advertisers to run their ads between rounds during his fights.

It’s Not as Bad as Pirated Streams But Yes, it Will Freeze/Buffer at Times.

And in REED’s Opinion it’s CONSIDERABLY More User-Friendly Watching Via Phone, Than Smart TV.

    Ditto for ESPN+.

DAZN is spending hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars to get rights to all these sports and all these monster contracts they're offering to boxers like Joshua, Canelo and now Wilder which was just rejected. DAZN hasn't made a big leap in promoting in the Canadian or UK market from what I've read.

Yeah, for Boxing Fans That Can Afford to Part w/$100 on the FRONT End, Which ISN'T the Majority...

The Average Boxing Fan is a GENERAL ADMISSION Type of Dude...

you figure any boxing fan that would order the alvarez-jacobs fight for $80 would gladly pay $100 for that fight plus a whole year worth of other fights and programming.

That $80 Charge Goes to Your Cable/Satellite Bill Though and Can Be Paid Off Over Time, if Need Be...Whereas That $100 is Coming Out of Your Account INSTANTLY...

REED's Grandfathered in w/DAZN Anyways and Won't Have to Worry about it Until March 2020, but REED Also Knows the Financial State of the Average Boxing Fan...When You're Living Check to Check, $100 is a Sizable Chuck to Part w/Upfront for What Amounts to Entertainment...

And Raising Prices a Mere 6 Months After the U.S. Launch ISN'T the Best of Looks Either...

This, plus the fact that since there is no tournament system nor structure in the sport, you might end up paying 100 bucks for WAITING your favorites to actually fight. When you only pay for one bout at the time, you can be pretty sure it actually happens

And Even the Current "Tournament System" in Boxing, the WBSS, Briefly Fell Into DUBIOUS Circumstances Regarding Projected Matchups Playing Out...
