Imagine if Mayweather would have gotten Hamed at 128 like he proposed after the Corrales fight.

Best part of that interview was Larry Merchant saying, "he's not going to fight you after this performance."

Mayweather would've absolutely executed Hamed. At that stage and that weight, PBF would've definitely knocked Hamed out.

Both moved up to superwelter and later to middleweight. They could have fought if Oscar only wanted to.

Trinidad vs Chavez Sr. Tito's camp kept calling him out, but Chavez went for the 'easier' DLH.

Idiot. Hoya fought three more times at 147 and didn't move up to 154 until almost two years after the Trinidad fight by which time Trinidad was at 160.

    More boricua-centric nonsense

Not only does this make no sense to the topic, but it's also amazingly fucking WRONG. Chavez went for the $$$$$$ ... Trinidad wasn't worth shit at the time compared to Hoya who was already a huge draw ... had fuck all to do with "easy"... Chavez was finished anyway

In the mid 70s, it would have been awesome to see Duran move up to 140 to fight Cervantes.

It was actually supposed to happen at a catchweight of 150 lbs, around 1981-82. But Pryor had managerial issues at the time, his manager got arrested for embezzlement. By the time it got cleared up, Duran had moved on to fight someone else.

    Duran would've beaten Pryor imo.

I love them both, but truthfully, Duran would have given Pryor a nasty beating and stopped him. Not as competitive a fight as some might believe IMO.

I cant think of anybody worse for the Hawk.

I like discussing who wins between Pryor, Pac, and Chavez if they were all matched together. I find those all debatable matchups.

Duran was a cut above all three. Your boy Whitaker was a cut above all three as well.

I don't think it's a sure shot Duran wins any of these matches. Sure he was historically greater, but these guys are too good to not have a shot

Don't know much about the detail, but Ive heard from a few sources that Duran wasn't interested in that match. Still, I think he would have been too good for Cervantes
