Jordan Peele's WOKE "Twilight Zone" series trailer

In a recent interview Jordan Peele said this:

Kinberg and Peele first talked about “Twilight Zone” three years ago, but they didn’t have a handle on "what was necessary in our moment culturally (and) politically,” Kinberg says. “And then that moment changed” with the 2016 election of Donald Trump. “The idea that a reality star who never had any political experience would become the leader of the free world feels like a ‘Twilight Zone’ episode.”

There’s “a different moral compass than we used to have,” Kinberg adds. “We’re living at this time where the world is changing faster than we can keep up with.”

Peele has received some backlash when he openly said that he don't see himself casting a white dude as the lead in any of his films.
