I'm sure you've all experienced moments when you rewatch a great you hadn't watched film of in awhile, and you realize you had forgotten how good they were. Happens to me all the type. Couple months ago I was binge watching Hagler fights I hadn't seen in awhile, and hadvforgotten how good Marvin was. Last night, it was Benitez. Binge watched El Radar's best performances on YouTube last night. I don't think "to this DAY" that Benitez gets mentioned enough when talking natural talent. He was an absolutely unbelievably gifted fighter, and had a lot more power than people remember. I still believe that Benitez would have beaten Floyd. I dont think Floyd was as "good" as Benitez... he was simply more consistent. Name some examples on yalls end.
I think Floyd was much better and impressive than Benitez. I think Benitez talent is vastly overrated
Benitez was better at 147 and 154 than Floyd but I think Floyd was better at 140. I don’t think Floyd does any better than Benitez did against the top guys of that time. Floyd’s best was at 130. I think Roy Jones is underrated today. People must have forgot.
