I don't think your reading comprehension is good enough to understand my, "take."

Your take is very easy to understand... promoters set up mismatches because people prefer mismatches

An idiotic position not supported by a shred of evidence that is based on your inability to understand why fanatical, hardcore fans of boxing enjoy RE-watching great fighter's perform

    That's it.

Fans love knockout mismatches. You deny this?

For 1nce In Your Messageboard Posting Existence ANSWER the Fucking Question.

You’re Referencing Roy Jones, a Fighter You LOATHE as Some Line of Demarcation of Fighters Taking Fewer Risks, Yet YOU Held WHOlio Gonzalez in High Regard.

To This Day, You’ve Yet to Entertain the Idea of Being WRONG About Roy Jones, Even SLIGNTLY, Choosing the “Facetious” Route Instead.

As if YOUR Ass Has EVER Been “Facetious” Intentionally....

If You’re NOT Merely Talking Shit ANSWER the Fucking Question REED Previously Posed?

To be honest, I am not sure entirely how the Crolla vs Loma mismatch was arrived at. How they justified it I will never know.

Boxing is a joke today. It was a joke before, but at least it had great boxers still active that we enjoyed watching, like Floyd, Pac, Cotto, Marquez. Now all there is left is Loma fighting bums and Canelo receiving gift decisions. Sad state of the sport.

What are my thoughts on the RJJ/Gonzalez fight? I was surprised by how reluctant Gonzalez became in the face of RJJ's speed. And I've said all along my picking Gonzalez was just wishful thinking. And I don't care if you believe that or not . the fact after 15 years you're still bringing that shit up is pretty pathetic.

Now, wtf does this have to do with the point I was making? Which is that boxing is shit because its fans will watch any shit they throw at us, and because people buy into dominant performances against overmatched opponents.

    Nope...

You were CERTAIN WHOlio Gonzalez was THE Guy to Beat Roy Jones...But Instead of CREDITING a Fighter You HATE, for MAKING Gonzalez "Reluctant", You Instead Cling to Being "Facetious" or NOW Whipping Out "Wishful Thinking" to Explain the IDIOCY of Your Take...

You're THE Worst Type of Boxing Fan Bruh...Instead of ACKNOWLEDGING Being Wrong About a Fighter, You Alter the Narrative to MAINTAIN a Position to Bitch and Moan From...

You WILLINGLY Burn the Candle from BOTH Ends When a Fighter You DISLIKE is Involved...Weak as Fuck Bruh...

Call me weird or unusual, but the day I start to hate boxing and lose interest in boxing is the day I stop posting here.

If yourself and Employee detest boxing so much, then why in the living FUCK do you clowns still persist posting daily on a boxing forum?

Fans (as in just ordinary people who might happen to watch a boxing match once in a while) love knockouts PERIOD. They want action. They don't delve into minutiae of matchups.

Connoisseurs/fanatics often enjoy looking back at a great fighter at the peak of his powers giving a great performance (a person that really enjoyed Roy Jones might really savor watching him dismantle a David Telesco) ... you have decided that these two phenomena are related when they aren't. The casual fan probably finds Jones/Telesco a bit boring because the action is one-sided without a quick KO.

If every fight were Ward/Gatti I, casuals would be obsessed with boxing

I don't hate boxing, Mr. Weird (you said to call that or unusual). I am just stating that the current state of the sport is a joke. Boxers today are way too protected and the best and not facing the best only when both are fading and interest has waned or plain died. Loma being today's p4p best by virtue of beating bums or faded boxers is a joke. He is not worthy of carrying Floyd's or Roy's jockstraps yet he is the best we have today? What a joke!

I'm no Loma fan, but the guy has faced the best fighters he could, bar Mickey Garcia
