Impressive performance by Prograis. Short of getting rocked by that left hook that came after the bell when he wasnt expecting it. He beat the living shit outta Relikh.
I was half kidding with that comment. But it's true that is defense was impressive. In previous fights, his head movement seemed a bit contrived, and he wasn't transitionning well from d to o. In this one, everything was perfectly fine tuned
"I apologize for the language, this is a family show." I can assure no family is sitting around this shitty stream at midnight watching Prograis. Only hardcores are tuned in. So shut the fuck up.
Prograis looks like the favorite over Taylor. Mainly because of defense. If Taylor has one weakness that I've seen, it's that he's a bit too straight up. But it's a great matchup.
I think last night answered my question from last night of whether Teofimo is ready for Prograis- he is not.
I disagree bruh. It's corny as fuck. Imagine if this 88 and Mike was doing his ringwalk for Spinks, only to stand on that stupid ass platform. "Mike Tyson... step intooooooooo the light."
Yeah, Ray Flores makes Mauro Renalo seem like Don Dunphy by comparison. DAZN's whole crew is horrible. Just fucking terrible. Maybe that's why Leonard just shows up for a check nowadays. Ray in the 80s knew had he had to be on his analyst game next to prime Tompkins and Merchant. Why should Ray care how he performs when he's on the same crew as Brian Kenny, that tall, dopey lookin white guy, and Ak and Barack?
"Fighter A needs to use that jab... and dig that body, like I did to Tommy Hearns. Fighter B just needs to move and use that ring, and not get caught up in a slugfest, cause that's a mistake I made against Roberto Duran."

Fantastic Performance by Prograis, Against the BEST Opponent he's Faced Thus Faaaaar... This was Probably a 55-45 Type of Fight Coming In and Regis Made it Look Like a 90-10 Fight... REED
I didn't think the odds were THAT close. I thought Prograis was a pretty solid favorite. HOWEVER, I did NOT expect it to be an absolute mismatch. I thought it would be the toughest fight of Regis' career. Relikh gave Regis about as much trouble as Abel Ramos did... He looked like the best junior welterweight in the world last night. We'll see in three weeks if Taylor can change our minds, but I think there's something to be said about the fact that Regis has barely lost any rounds in his career. He looks like the favorite over Taylor, it's SUCH close call. For the record, I expect Taylor to stop Baranchyk in about 6-8.
One thing is for sure, Top Rank executives who watched last night are saying, "Ramirez is NEVER facing this guy."
