Tomorrow on Showtime. Neither one is particularly good at world level, I dunno who to pick. But it's a good matchup given that they're on the same level, so definitely worth watching! Prograis-Relikh is the much better matchup tomorrow, but I'll squeeze in watching this as well.
Yes. One of the worst robberies I've seen in recent years. Not even a robbery that can be disputed and spun not to be a robbery, like Golov-Canelo 1. Relikh dominated Barthelemy in the first fight and was robbed blind. Dominated him even more in the rematch though. Shut him out. Relikh is no joke as a fighter. That's why tomorrow will give us a true measure of how good Prograis is.
Bunny vs Barthelemy is Similar to Peterson-Lipinets and Trout-Gausha in Terms of Being a MUST WIN Bout for Both. Hard to Imagine Many Viable Options for the LOSER. After the 2 Relikh Fights, REED has No Desire to See Barthelemy Again, So While REED Hopes E-Bunny Wins, he Won’t Watch UNTIL He Knows the Outcome 1st. REED
E-Bunny is just like his boyfriend, AB... both fought to survive against Mikey. I'm guessing Easter probably wins. Barthelemy was decent a few years ago, but I suspect he's,slipped.
Easter @ Least TRIED to Win Until Getting Dropped in the 3rd-4th or Whatever Round it Was. AB was in Survival Mode from the Moment he Signed the Contract. REED
Networks APPROVE Fights Beforehand Doub...It's NOT Like They're Settling for BS Bouts Last Minute... REED
Whether or not it's last minute, they are certainly settling for BS bouts. That is undeniable with Saturday's Showtime card only the latest example.
Again, the Network ITSELF is Culpable Doub... If They Don't Have a Trustee Assigned to Research the QUALITY and APPEAL of a Particular Fight, that's NOT the Promoter's Fault... Any Fightbeat Poster Could've Told Showtime Brass Bunny vs. Barthelemy was a SHIT Fight w/Little to NO Intrigue... REED
Who the fuck cares. The promoter put together a shit card. And the network broadcasted it. I'm not defending either one. Are you?
Well unlike the promoter, the network without exception wants to put on the most entertaining fight possible. The promoter, on the other hand, has conflicting priorities. Thus, when a shit card occurs, although both network and promoter are to blame, it is the promoter benefitting at the expense of the network.
