In closing, a statement about Amir Khan's wife... she fucks Khan, and cheats on him with AJ.... obviously she likes to feel more durable than her men.

Fully Aware of Ruiz's POTENTIAL to Hurt/Drop Joshua and Make for a Fan Friendly Bout, REED was Nonetheless STUNNED Watching it Unfold…

    WOW!!!...

Joshua Boxed Decently the First 2 Rounds, Opened Up On and Dropped Ruiz in the 3rd, Then Got GREEDY, Got OVERANXIOUS...And Once Ruiz Dropped Him w/a Dillian Whyte-ESQUE Left Hook Counter to the Temple, Joshua's Demise was Imminent...

It Wasn't 1 Shot, Necessarily, It was the COMBINATION of Shots and HANDSPEED Joshua Wasn't the Least Bit Prepared For...And All he Could Do was Turtle Up When Confronted w/It...

People are SAYING Joshua Quit, but the Audio Replay Reveals Him Answering "Yeah", Each Time the Ref Asked if he Wanted to Continue...Problem Is, Joshua Wasn't VEHEMENT About it or All That EAGER to Get Back Into the Fray, in the Moment...And he DIDN'T Really Complain After the Fact Either...

Dude's Pre-Fight Vibe was VERY Weird...He Looked TIGHT, DETACHED and Even Had His Mouthpiece In DURING the Anthems...Playing w/It Like He Was Steph Curry or Somebody...What REED Found Disappointing was Joshua's Post-Fight Vibe...Dude was Flat Out RELIEVED in the Immediate Aftermath, as If a Million Pounds of PRESSURE Had Been Lifted Off his Back...

Eddie Hearn's in Full DAMAGE CONTROL Mode Now:D...He Milked That Cow a Bit Toooooooooooooo Loooooooooooooooong….Joshua was GUARANfuckingTEED $50mil MINIMUM for a Wilder Fight + $30mil MINIMUM for an Immediate RE...Hearn Banked On $20-$25mil Paydays Against the Likes of Povetkin, Parker, Ruiz and Others for the Time Being, THEN Cashing Out for that Major Money vs. Wilder Down the Line...

Now, We May NEVER See That Fight...And Even if we Do, it WON'T Be as Anticipated as it Was a Mere 24 Hours Ago...

Just a WEIRD Night Overall...When the British Crowd Couldn't Even Do the "Uuuuuh Annnn-Tuuuuuuney Juuuuushwuuuuuuh" Chant in UNISON, a Chill Went Down REED's Spine...

    Props, Brotha REED.

You called Fat Boy giving AJ trouble.

Problem is, we were all predicting under the assumption that AJ knew how to fight.

Fat Andy exposed that is not the case.

I think Khan may no longer have the worst chin pound 4 pound in boxing, and that’s saying a lot.

AJ looked clueless out there. No consistent jab, no body shots, no uppercuts against a guy who was a squat target.

Major set back. The type that fighters don’t come back from.

I don't know if exposed is the right word to use because we've seen AJ hurt before and be put down. Prior to the Ruiz fight, we pretty much knew what we needed to know about AJ; what he's good at and what his flaws are. That 3rd round was a massive game changer. AJ didn't recover but he mentally caved in and that is what stood out the most for me. He wasn't confident after the 3rd round, wasn't willing to throw his right hand, he was too concerned with what would come back at him. I suppose that is one area where he was exposed. Perhaps he cut corners in training, didn't think Ruiz would be that much of a threat. I don't know. He was way too gracious in defeat though, he didn't seem pissed off, it was like he was relieved that it was over.

Everything that could go wrong, did. Every flaw he's had since his ammy days came back to haunt him. He goes back in straight lines, his defence is poor and he struggles horribly against anyone with a bit of nous, some movement and fast hands. He always has. He's so muscular thatt he gasses whenever he's put under the pump. And, exactly as I said was the case, he can't take shots well at all. He mentally folded once Ruiz took his best shots and came straight back at him.

I'm not sure he can win a re. This wasn't a McCall-Lennox, one punch 'fluke'. Ruiz beat the fucking shit out of Joshua. He looked mentally broken at the end: more David Price than Lennox Lewis.

I think 'exposed' is the right word, even if it horribly overused nowadays. It'll take a miracle to come back from that.

He was walking backwards.........and I can't say pursued, because.........Ruiz couldn't pursue a fucking dead tortoise.........but he was basically being chased.....slowly.......and looked like he just wanted to go home. Ruiz, literally, set the same task that old ass Povetkin did, short shots, put together in nice clusters......Joshua punches so wide up close that the Titanic could turn inside him.

Ruiz had the nous, the desire and the youth to do it, and did.

AJ is still pretty good overall, he’s just a bit rigid and he’ll always be vulnerable to short counters inside as he straightens up to punch and long punches from the outside that he can’t consistently get around or under.

I think a lot of you guys are exaggerating how bad he looked. It was really just a matter of Ruiz being a good and quick enough counter puncher to catch Joshua when he opened up and being able to hurt him. Obviously Joshua isn’t a masterful mover and boxer but that’s not what lost him the fight.

Joshua’s wheelhouse is his mid range game and to not be that agile he’s pretty decent at maintaining range. But guys that want to force the mid range melee usually need that extra bit of durability and resilience. I wouldn’t right off AJ as fragile yet, he is an aggressive HW and shit happens, but he’s vulnerable. Could make his fights more compelling if he can come back.

No he wasn't, I wish you guys would stop using "dog" as an insult, that goes for @Xplosive too.

Dogs are some of the bravest creatures on earth, they'll fight to the death. It's a pretty bizarre "insult" to label someone a dog :D

Agreed, but why did you hate him? Wald pussy was easy to dislike, for obvious reasons, but I always liked Vitali. Not exactly the most exciting heavyweight, nor did he have the most finesse, but he was much tougher and more watchable than his brother.

I also preferred him to that big bitch Lewis.

Well I never thought he had a better chin but I figured it was probably the same but yeah Ruiz was stinging him with shots that weren't even that hard so AJ has a shittier chin

When dogs lose and want to submit they tuck their tails and whine after fighting viciously and confidently. That’s where the concept of “dog” meaning front runner comes from. Kind of unfair to the dogs since any sober man will curl into ball if you beat him enough.

He does. And I'm not sure why exactly as it's not like he was knocked down and hurt in every fight, call it a gut feeling I guess, but I just always had the feeling AJ was chinny, and have been more or less waiting for this moment :D

I honestly thought Parker had the capability to do something similar, he had a decent combo of speed and power, but he simply fought scared. Pathetic performance.

Ruiz evidently had the guts and balls to just unload and let his hands fly.

OK, I didn't even know, not being into dogfighting and all, but my perception of dogs is they are fucking brave animals, always ready to fight, and ready to protect their owners etc.

I think the change of opponent proved to be Joshua's undoing. He didn't have the same focus, he didn't see Ruiz as a serious threat and it seemed like he wasn't prepared. AJ was asking for advice in the corner, he wasn't sure of himself. Really crazy stuff.
