Fury did what he was supposed to do and looked good doing it.

To quote Larry Merchant after Shane Mosley KO'd Adrian Stone, "So what??!!??"

And Schwartz would beat Joshua? Come on.

Fury dominated a guy who shouldn't have been in the ring with him. Nothing more, nothing less. Breazale is head and shoulders above Schwartz. Definitely has a far better pedigree and I STILL think Breazale is bum. What does that make Schwartz.

And you are correct, Fury does have to beat Wilder to stop the chatter. I thought Fury won the Wilder fight and would favor him to win the rematch.

"HOWEVER" let's not pretend he'd fight Wilder the same as he fought Schwartz who threw wet noodles back at Fury.

"A-Schwartz" really did get lit up like a Christmas tree, had no idea what he was doing.

Yeah schwarz is garbage, but the "hands down dodging" fury did was impressive

As soon as Schwartz got hit clean he didn’t look badly hurt but he froze and basically quit. Not much to criticize for Fury but he just kicked a can down the road.

Fury basically has got two flaws: he's got a bad defensive tic and attention issue. And he's not got massive 1-shot power.

He got dropped by Wilder the first time because he wasn't paying attention, he'd avoided harder shots than that all night.

    Breazeale, Schwartz?

You guys really debating the merit of those two palookas?

Is either among the top 2000 professional boxers alive?

Brezeale couldn't even hurt Joshua. Horrible. The worst.

He sucks, and yet he'd be a sizable betting favorite over that German day laborer

    I don't.

I don't trust someone whose entire identity is based around what town he happened to be born in. "The Leeds Warrior" lolol. What a chode.

He is not bad though. I don't like him or his style, but like you said he comes to fight, and I knew that would be enough to beat Frampton who is small and passive.

He gets battered by any real elite featherweight though.

You think someone called "The Leeds Warrior", who has fought most of their fights in Leeds, is USA bound? :D

    Nah, I don't fucking think so :D

Fury looked good. Especially in the second. He did catch some punches though. If Fury had a bit more power then him beating Wilder would be a lock but I don't know if he can avoid literally a hundred right hands again.

He's already gone down to Wales to fight, and bash up, Selby in front of his home crowd.

He's trying to sell tickets and cash in on an identity. As ID politics go, it's by far the most benign.

The guy he was fighting was called Bari Ahmed Jihad Bombazz but wanted to be called "Kid Galahad".

If there was a fucker there with identity issues, it was Galahad, not Warrington.

He will be faster and sharper in the rematch. Wilder thinks it's going to be a redux and he just has to be ready for it. Fury's speed was impressive last night. He turned southpaw and landed a big left uppercut last night.

4th defense of his Lineal title, mind you

ESPN aren't half full of bottled shit.

A fitter, more active, and sharper Fury is bad news for Wilder who can’t really change much from the first fight except be more aggressive but that will just leave him open to more counters.

Fury could actually improve on his first performance against Wilder.

Idiots on 5 Live said last night said that "Warrington beat him in front of 18,000 Welshmen"....I took that to mean the fight took place in Wales.

Maybe there was 18,000 Welshmen there........but that would suggest there was around 50,000 in total and if that was the case, he shouldn't be criticized for fighting in leeds, as the money must be substantial.

    He should.

Wilder lost to a guy who was a 400lb alcoholic mess a year beforehand.

Fury had what, 2 fights in 4 years?

Parker is now taking on Alex "Leap Amateur" Leapai in a stunning heavyweight battle.

Superb fight, but I thought that to be defined as a leap amateur, you have to be physically able to take a leap

Yeah it's a mouth-watering matchup for sure, and even better it's on the great DAZN platform we all love.

You technically don't have to be able to leap to be a leap amateur - long as you can shuffle, plod or ooze your way vaguely in the direction of your opponent, then throw a sloppy punch with your hands around your waist and chin in the air, you can qualify for a sub category of leap amateur.
