Not even in the Top 3 best Grunge bands.

Plus, he was a wimp who couldn´t handle his drugs and topped himself.

    That's funny; you're funny

Still, thanks to knowing what a melody is, your band of choice is certainly superior to Deep Purple

    Nah.
They're one of the usual suspects that newbies name when asked about their favourite all-time rock bands:
"Guns 'n' Roses, Nirvana....er, Chilli Peppers...maybe some Metallica"

Only they appeal to teenage mentality and little else.

Oh wow, a list of 4 very popular 80s/90s bands that's supposed to imply a link of sorts

Nirvana very clearly not a good fit in that list to start with

And secondly, it has fuck all to do with the matter at hand: Deep Purple being awful

    Songs, songs, songs

There are more good songs on one side of any Led Zeppelin album apart from possibly In Through The Out Door (Coda isn't a real album) than on any 5 combined sides of any Deep Purple albums

"Come Taste The Band"... that's beyond even Spinal Tap territory... Deep Purple doesn't even have songs as good as Black Sabbath ... it's like Sabbath with vastly superior musicians but somehow even less writing ability

Honestly, I'd respond with another gif but the majority are legitimately of Kurt looking miserable :D

Still, no reflection on the music which was obviously BRILLIANT.

Well, it was just a temporary outlet for disaffected/depressed teen-angst of the 1990s, right?
As for Nevermind, it has some good power-pop-punk hooks but its all about ´Kurt Cobain saved my life with this album, blah-blah-blah´.

    Just saw this.

Nevermind was a cultural phenomenon, I don't think you can knock an album just because it was popular. If it had that much of an impact on the youth at the time, casual or not, and it still stands the test of time then it deserves its accolades. It's not my favourite Nirvana album and I do find it a little too polished, but it's deserving of its place.
