Yep, it’s just like the 007 female thing. They’re not actually replacing the leads or the franchise with a female they’re just empowering women in the films for a minute. It´s just an extension of what Marvel have always done.

 

I get Panchy’s issue. Back then they did those kind of stories because it was interesting or it added something to the story. Now they do it just to pander and they do it for almost every film. IMO these producers don’t have the balls to put a man in the lead role or not have a gay or gender confused character. It’s like they’re afraid of not looking woke or of any possible backlash.

That seems to be the case now though...no-one is being preached to, but I agree that it does seem somewhat contrived to appease and not offend the LGBT crowd.
