Fucking + and - eh? It's amazing how nobody really grasps fractions anymore these days. It was drummed into us in school.
I see Fury is now an 8/11 favourite vs Wilder, but it's misleading, cos Wilder is 11/10 Bookies scurred. Canelo 1/5 and Kovalev 3 1/2 to 1 Is Chisora shot? Cos you can get better than evens on him to beat Ponderous Parker.
According to Google: "Sergei Kovalev...........................People also search for Mikey Garcia". No, they fucking don't mate.
Alvarez will win ... Kovalev can't take it to the body and Alvarez and his guys know it ... it's not a total farce or anything, it's mild cherry-picking but it's not egregious; certainly not by Canelo standards (Khan, for example) Kovalev can still punch and he's savvy enough that Alvarez will have to work for it and be careful early on but he looks like he's getting more and more fragile every time out
If kovalev can land his jab he has a great chance to win and get robbed. If alvarez can slip and get to his body it will be a legit victory for him I'd like to see kovalev come out aggressive behind the jab and look for an early ko. Since a decision isnt in the cards for him
I thought Kovalev looked horrible vs a bum (Yarde) in his last fight and he didn't looked much better vs Alvarez even though he won clearly. Still, that's one hell of a gamble by Canelo and wouldn't be surprised at all if it backfired.
I watched a Yarde fight and I thought he showed a lot of skill/talent and power. Haven't seen the Kov fight, though. Is he really bad?
Canelo should win this via decision. He’ll probably hurt Kovalev a couple times but I don’t think he will have the power to keep him hurt and force a stoppage.
Yeah as juiced and ripped and fat and as short and as midget as Canelo is, he's no thicker or stronger than Yarde.
Kovalev is so much bigger. Huge props to Canelo for not insisting on a catch weight, but I think it's going to cost him the win. I think Kovalev will prepare properly and be able to use his size. I hate that his power is apparently diminished, but Canelo is a middleweight and middleweights don't beat light heavies. The best applicable exception is Hopkins/Tarver. I think this would be a similarly impressive win for Canelo if he gets it.
I will be happily surprised if Jermaine Taylor doesn’t kill someone in the next few years. He is a ticking time bomb, and it seems the only reason he hasn’t killed anyone yet (that we know of) is because of bad aim and gun malfunctions. They can’t even put him in a mental institution because he beat the fuck out of another patient there. It’s very sad, his brain is scrambled and he never should have been allowed to box again after the Abraham brain bleed. Just last year he got arrested again for beating the hell out of his GF and putting a knife to her throat.
Personality change is all due to brain damage. Frontal temporal lobe. It's going to kill him the question is whether he will kill somebody else first.
Basically, don't fuck with 'King Cobra' Carl or you'll get yo black head brains scrambled yo. Don't worry, state police snipers will take the cunt out.
This matchup is really intriguing. Part of me feels that Canelo is catching Kov at the right time. Let's face it, Kov hasn't looked all that good in some time now and he didn't impress me in his last fight against Yarde. There's a huge degree of risk involved for Canelo, but his team wouldn't risk putting him in there if they weren't very confident in him winning this one. Canelo looks so small compared to Kov though and even though Kov may be past it, he's still the much bigger man who brings power, a good jab, size and strength to the table. Still, Canelo is a massive draw in the sport and I wouldn't bet against him here. It's a smart move and I just don't see it ending in disaster. I'm going with Canelo to win and I'll go by UD.
