    Uncanny.
I get to post two, mid-70s TV shows:

TV show from 1976 pisses on anything this cretin Will Smith ever did or will do.
The guy is like a shit that just won't flush.

Saw it tonight. Not bad, not great either. I think it’s biggest flaw may have been the pacing. The action sequences were pretty good except for their hand to hand combat fight which was kind of difficult to see because they moved so fast, were in a dark cave and the camera was often to close or at bad angles that it was difficult to tell who was who. 6/10

Will Smith should go back in time and give his son toy cars and guns to play with instead of dolls.

Probably the best movie Smith was ever in.

For the most part, 98% of his movies have been horrible.

It says a lot about today's movie-,going public that this hugely irritating jug-eared idiot's piss-poor excuses for 'movies' are remotely popular

Not really. Every era has washed up stars living on their own fumes. He must be one or two flops from straight-to-dvd status. If thats still a thing

Recurring theme in contemporary 'action' movies - clueless directors who dont understand the importance of establishing the geography of a scene confuse high octane kinetic chaos with exciting visual storytelling

Everybody in Hollywood wants to have a career like Clint Eastwood who can be on a wheelchair and yet delivers box office hits.

Gemini Man would have been a box office success in say, 2003, when Smith was still the biggest star in Hollywood.

People don't give a shit about him anymore, and maybe now movie studios will finally realize that.

That's a rarity though... very few actors/actresses are able to make that smooth a transition to directing ... Especially when you consider so much of Eastwood's appeal as a movie star was in his physicality and screen presence ... stars like that aren't the kind you'd expect to excel as directors ... Eastwood is unusual

Anyone like Will Smith in I Am Legend?

A rarity as he didn´t get much chance to goof-off like a know-it-all twat.

Indeed. He is still bankable both as a director and as an actor plus gets recognition from the Academy via nominations.

I Am Legend was a piece of shit movie just like any other Smith film, save for Enemy of the State.

I'll admit though, ID4 is still fun to watch in a campy, stupid way. But ID4 is really carried by Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pullman.... moreso than Will.

I get that Smith’s on screen mannerisms have gotten annoying over the years, even I can see it. Still, I’m not going to sit here and act like his whole filmography is shit now. Most of his past movies were very good and yes that includes I Am Legend and even I Robot. I hated both films upon first viewing but they somehow wound up having very high rewatchability.

Good news haters! Gemini Man is officially an epic failure as it’s been reported it’s expected to lose around 75 million dollars.

I honestly don’t get why it did so bad. I don’t recall any early negative criticism, I thought the trailer made the film look pretty good and there wasn’t much adult competition at the time. Has Smith’s star fallen THAT far?

If so what does this say about the studio’s expectations for Bad Boys III? Maybe they’ll have to make a deal with Netflix to secure their profits.

Yes, Smith's star has fallen THAT far.

From the mid 90s up until the mid 00s, Smith could have made a movie about him taking a shit and it would have been a box office smash. He was, for a period, the biggest star in Hollywood.

But I think beginning in the 2010s... his star power just wore off. People got sick of him and his incredibly weird ass family.

Him, Jada, and their kids are a bunch of fuckin loons.

Maybe because everyone has (hopefully) finally woken up to the fact that all the smart people like me knew fuckin years ago: Smith is a wanker who makes shit movies.
