Split was good. Glass was just average.

 

It’s just my opinion. I saw what it was trying to do but for me it just missed the mark. Trying to blend a little horror/thriller element with his shrink sessions and then his powers element just turned into a jumbled mess that I thought didn’t flow well.

 

I loved Glass.

Finally saw this and it was as bad as I expected. Better than Split but neither were on the level of Unbreakable. There were some action sequences that made this semi worthwhile and having them all in a therapy session should have been a nice element to explore but it was only done once and their was little to no interaction between the main supers. I think the Split character is too engulfing and having to deal with each of his personalities is like having an extra character on screen. I believe that was a main reason I didn’t enjoy Split.

The beginning of the film showed how Willis’ character and his son were working together to catch criminals and in that part of the film things were good and that would have been a good basis for the sequel. Bringing the ridiculous Split character into the story ruined the whole trilogy IMO. 5.5/10
