I felt pretty good all day. Just noticed it when I walked the dog. No power at all in my stride. Normally I see a bunch of young lands and I am keen for one of them to say some shit so I can pound his head in. Tonight I was dead at the weight and was eager to avoid any aggro. Not myself at all.

Liverpool are in bother here. Losing to Napoli and Salzburg winning.

If it stays like this Liverpool will need to avoid defeat in Salzburg........who scored 3 at Anfield in the reverse fixture.

    Liverpool need something sharpish.

Aye he'll be too heavy for that right now. Could do rows with the 32kg kettlebell instead. Goblet squats too, which will be pretty decent work carrying extra poundage

I have a 21kg medicine ball that I shoulder press.

15, 15, 12, failure. Usually with no more than 30 second rest. HARDCORE.

When I hit 250 I will start being sensible about things.

    Yeah good point.
There are some insanely-built guys in my gym but the only ones you ever see doing pull-ups are those at 5'8" - 6'0", -90kg.

Yeah, it's hard....it's basically asking tiny muscle groups to do all the work and they just fail when the weight is too much.

Liverpool have a real problem now. We have to go to Salzburg in a fortnight and not get beat.

The group is 10 for Liverpool, 9 for Napoli, and 7 for Salzburg who have the better GD.

So the arithmetic is simple...........if Salzburg beat Liverpool, they will qualify and Liverpool, the holders, are out.

Napoli have Genk at home and that is 3 points for Napoli.

Napolis goal tonight was a joke.

Not really. Liverpool have 10 fucking games in December. 10.

When that's over, they come back on Jan 2nd to face Leicester away, then its the FA Cup, then its's Man United at home and Spurs away.

Napoli definitely something of a bogey team for Liverpool.

Salzburg away will be very tough. Honestly though, if I was a Liverpool fan I wouldn't be all that bothered about fucking the Champions League off just this one season and focusing on bringing the league title home.

Two huge yins in the next month, really cant wait. I cant lie, it adds to excitement that Rangers are a decent side again - these feel tense the way old firms used to. I'm tense about the 28th december already!

Yes but that's not how it works unfortunately. There is a big difference between being IN the CL and getting KO'd {at the group stages no less} and not being in it to begin with.

However, yes, on the balance of things, 1 final, 1 win and 1 group stage KO in 3 years is pretty good going.

I think we're a better side this year; in fact, personally, i think this is the best celtic side since 03/04. Fairly credible rumours that we might re-sign wanyama in january too, who was the star man of that side who beat barca in 12/13. Oooh the tingling.

I put £1 on Salzburg to beat Liverpool and Braga to draw with Wolves from 1-3 down and Rangers to draw from 0-1 down.

It was £185 to 1 and it's still on.

Then I put £3 on Celtic to win, Arsenal to win and Sevilla to win.
