    Thr director had Xmas iconography litter nearly every scene in home alone, to the point walls, couches, fittings in the house are nearly uniformly chosen to be red or green to subliminally buttress the association. However....if nobody had 'learned a lesson' about family itd instantly cease to be xmassy in ANY way & anyone who associated it with xmas or included on this list would be a twat. Because our visual associations with xmas arent xmassy, only people learning gay feel good life lessons are- Genius film analyst Clogg.

    Don’t understand the love for this film. A guy wants to leave his hometown to travel but finds his dreams stifled at every turn by the people of his town. In desperation he tries to commit suicide but is shown by an angel that his town would be a complete shithole without him.

    The moral appears to be fuck what you want, accept the place that has been decided for you. It’s a Christmas miracle!

    It just looked like a movie that just didn't interest me.

    Whether it's good or not is irrelevant because, Culkin.

    It's the sort of movie Slystaff would have in his 'Top 20 Movies Ever Regardless of Genre' list.
