Jeff Fenech vs Barry McGuigan

We've done this matchup before, but not in awhile.

I think Fenech woulda outlasted McGuigan in a war.

 

We’ve done it before... tough to call... I think I picked McGuigan before but it’s hardly a “this guy wins 10 out of 10” proposition

 

10 out of 10 Fenech wins with his speed and feet

 

I just feel like Fenech was the better/greater fighter.

I think to beat a prime Fenech you either need exceptional skills or booming power.

McGuigan had neither.

 

He was but I’m not sure that really applies head to head at 126 (a lot of Fenech’s value comes from his work at lower weights) ... Fenech liked to maul and brawl which suits McGuigan just fine stylistically

 

Actually, one of Fenech's best performances was against Victor Callejas... at featherweight. He was a beast in that fight.

I more see it as McGuigan's style suits Fenech.

 

Cajellas was a career 122 pounder ... I have zero doubt Barry McGuigan would’ve whupped his ass too
