I too expect the retard to find the sweet spot amid otherwise general embarrassment

Dont like that Wilder say that he plans to be more patient...

He's always patient. He has to be. He has no jab, no body punching, no footwork and basically no skills. His entire schtick is to amble around, eating punches until he eventually finds a gap and lands the retard punch. That is his skill; it actually is one and he is damn good at it - it is one thing to have retard power but it is quite another to literally always find a way of landing it when you are at a sizeable skills deficit in almost every contest you have.

    Retard power. Lol.

True, that is his only elite skill and in the current state of the heavyweight division, that's enough. In fact, I wonder if it wouldn't have been enough to make him a threat in any era.

If he gets ko'd once, I suspect he'll lose that skill because you need high confidence to win like he does.

John Fury is going around saying that Fury had cracked Wilder in the first fight and the crack will run and run until Wilder gives way.

    I don't accept that for a minute.

But I expect a close fight all the same.

Seems that many writers remember the first bout wrong. In about nine rounds it was a very slow-paced bout and not very different, in fact, from Fury- Wlad, which was dreary.

Fury wasn't performing any masterclass, he just edged most of the rounds. And Wilder didn't show much of balls to the walls attitude, he found a couple of openings.

Based on what they have done after the first bout, I pick Wilder. But I expect Fury to be very different from the Wallin bout too

    disagreed completely

While it wasn't a barn burner, it was absolutely nothing like Wlad vs Fury. Wilder was throwing hard punches in pretty much every rounds, even though he was getting tagged a lot. Showed huge huge balls

There was Genuine DRAMA, SUSPENSE, AWE @ Wilder Seemingly Getting the 12th Round KO He Needed and Of Course AMAZEMENT that Fury Not Only Beat the Count, But Won the Remainder of that Round...

@ No Point was Wlad-Fury the Least Bit Dramatic, Suspenseful, Awe Inspiring or Amazing, in Any Capacity...

While the fight was certainly “more exciting” than wald pussy vs Fury (one of the most revolting championship fights in history) and had a couple of dramatic moments, Ugo is right... it was largely tedious

I agree and thats I tell people who claim it was some thriller

It was every bit as dull as wilder looked incompetent, aside from the 2 moments he hurt fury

I do agree with REED's point that the suspense was there and thus I wouldn't call the fight dull at all, but for most parts it was uneventful.

Also I totally disagree about Wilder throwing hard punches. Most of the time he was unsuccessfully trying to figure out a way to get to Fury, even though Fury didn't land often nor hard either.

It definitely wasn't a case of Wilder lacking guts, he just couldn't find a way to show them

Is there any proof that furys cut has healed up? Why did somebody with none of the power of Wilder or even John McDermott for that matter....cut him so badly.

Power barely has anything to do with a cut. Youve been watching boxing for more than a decade. You should know this

Wait, So You Actually WERE "Compelled" Enough to Watch Wilder-Fury All Along, Despite Your Efforts to PORTRAY Otherwise???...

Vitali never cut until Lewis hit him. Lewis was also the hardest hitter he faced. Sure some cuts are freakish. Sometimes a guy is old and worn and cuts easier. But generally speaking, if a guy like Wallin can cut you, and a guy like Wilder can hit you, then a guy like Wilder can cut you.

It's a pity, the editing, because the opening sentnence of that video appears to be Joyce repeating his usual mantra about how he has "Never been beat in me life".

Joyce could be given a revised edition of the commandments to disseminate amongst the faithful and he would open with a reminder about he had never been beat and never would be beat...before moving on to the matter at hand.

He would of course not communicated this message in Scotland as he's never been to Scotland as it is only full of old shites.

The only caveat I have against this is that I don't think that reinterrupting an interrupted blood supply {ie following one form of blunt trauma with another} is any sort of a saving mechanism the same way an electric shock can restart a heart that was stopped by an electric shock.

That said, Fury has an excellent record in rematches too and generally seems to learn from them. And it was his proper fight in ages when he fought Wilder....

So yes, Fury to rack up the points and lose late but I can see him get the decision too.

Mike is high. It took 4 seconds for that to be clear. Right as long as it took for him to look into the camera and just laugh.

Fury has been very quiet lately, again winding up rumors about his condition. One suspects this is another of his smoke screens and in the ring he will be sharper than expected, as always. I pick Wilder though

  27. Tyson using unique training methods to strengthen that jaw:

“I have got confidence in me chin, but I’ve been doing a lot pussy lickin’ to strengthen me jaw up, so yeah, so yeah, I’ve been strengthenin’ the ol’ jaw up, as well.”

Might have something to do with the fact that Lewis hit him more than all the other palookas he faced in his carreer combined.

Again, there is pretty much no correlation between power and cuts.
