We saw what Oscar could do to the 96 Chavez.

How would he have fared against the 89-90 Chavez?

Oscar still wins, his reach advantage being a major factor

Oscar at 140 was reaching his prime while Julio was beginning to decline.

It’s still súper competitive, though. I can see Oscar winning a controversial decision in a back and forth fight.

No way he stops Julio, though. The versions of Chavez he fought were so far removed from Julio’s best days.

Depends on the distance as well. I can't see Oscar holding up to Chavez' pressure for fifteen full rounds.

I don't see it. I think Oscar has a lead through 6, but as Chavez comes on 7-9, Goldie's stamina issues come into play.

I think Chavez has him survival running 10-12 and wins a deserved decision - possibly sweeping every round after 8.
