    Ali was slow and flat-footed by that point. Ruiz could certainly find opportunities to land. He's probably still too fat and inactive enough to get it done though.

    The Ali of Spinks 2 was shot but he got himself in condition to flurry, dance and hold in close for a full 15 rounds. He still had enough to beat a fighter with such a high level of self respect that he came into the ring to defend his title fat and completely untrained. Ali schools him.
