Kasim Ouma vs James Kirkland

Who wins?

 

Kirkland would be too strong. And Ouma doesn’t hit hard enough to deter him.

I'm with Neil on this one.

 

Ouma's a lot tougher and had a bigger gas tank. Kirkland is ahead early but can't keep applying the same level of pressure round after round.

 

I pick Ouma too. I think his punches would be plenty hard to handle Kirkland.

 

Agreed. We're not talking about a durable guy here.

Ouma wasn't much of a puncher, but he was crisp and accurate, and that's enough to stop Kirkland.

In retrospect, maybe I should have posted a Ouma vs Paul Williams thread instead. Cause both were a level above Kirkland.

 

Ouma vs. Williams would've been an amazing fight.

 

I think Tall Paul beats Ouma.

Williams had trouble with southpaws who were sharp shooters (Quintana, Martinez, Lara), but a volume guy like Ouma plays into his hands.
